@Laime Thank you. Spoke to the customer services at ACN. They say that those who has met the complete eligibility criteria are invited first, as the course is offered on first come and first served basis. So, we dont have any other option other than waiting. CQ offers online course for domestic students and on campus for International students. We may get the registration after completing the course but the period of the course is 6 months.

@Laime They might be having so many applications to look. I had checked with the RO long back if I fail to secure a seat in the one year period. She said, we have to apply for the extension but there is no sure thing that we may get the extension. It will depend on the case and the case officer. I guess, we need to be patient because nothing else can be done. Have you tried in CQ QLD. They have a distance learning program.

Hello! I have got the referral letter in January. I am planning to apply in ACN too. I have registered the interest, but have not received the application yet. The course dates shows first cohort has commenced. Hope they send the applications. BTW, where are you located?

You are not alone. I regret going into nursing every single day. If I had it to do again I would go into social work. At least then you still get to help people but have weekends and holidays off and are not mandated for overtime all the time. Yes you are absolutely right. The problem here in Hong Kong is with the language. Locals and every big organization seeks for people with Cantonese. Having good English doesn't solely works. Job for me is like I want to remain engaged more than money! Praying that God shows the way. I know this is not the end. :)

I am standing in a place where I practiced as a RN in an ICU for an year and after that worked 4 years in a college as Clinical Instructor. Recently I have shifted to Hong Kong. I don't wish to take the registration and go ahead with my Nursing career, as I am not good at and do not want to do bedside patient care. I am looking for something in a corporate field or say a desk job. I am still wondering what else I can do apart from Nursing. I really regret the decision of going for Nursing.

I also wanted to know. If anybody holds experience then do they exempt them from writing exam? Is writing exam a mandatory criteria?

Hi Becclkm, I m an RN from India. I have got Clinical as well as Academic Experience. I have shifted to Hong Kong a month ago. Checking for the registration and licencing system. The hours they have asked to complete the course is what i already have in my transcript. I wanted to know from you that in order to study or prepare for the exams, we need to refer books of NCLEX ;which seems to be available in Hong Kong Public Libraries. I am new to this place and searching for resources.
