Is this doable?
I took Gen Bio in high School and I don't need the class as a prerequisite because it will just be seen as an elective to my intended nursing program.
-
Is this doable?
Yeah, I notice that I'm a very direct and impatient person so I like to get things done in head of time. The reason for my backwardness.

Is this doable?
At my university Gem chem 1 is mostly taken by freshmans and I heard the class is fun. But I'm taking it at a CC so I'm not sure how it will be. Also I took Organ Chem before gen chemistry and that was doable.
-
Is this doable?
So what I'm thinking about now is to take Microbiology this summer and Statistics next spring and Gen chem 1 next summer. I already took Organic Chem w/lab and chemistry is not required to take A&P. Plus, I'm already registered for my summer and fall classes. I never took A&P either.

Is this doable?
I would like to say that I could handle it but I never had a job before so I wouldn't how I could handle work and school.
-
Is this doable?
Can everyone look at my schedule plan to see if it's doable? I'm a 4.0 student and I never had a job before but this will be my first time working. My nursing school will be almost 30k and I need to save money for living expenses to lighten the load. Summer 2016 Statistics Online while working full time Fall 2016 (Working part-time) Medical Terminology Online A&P1/W lab Health Online Speech Humanities/Fine Arts Course Humanities Course Spring 2017 (working part time) Gen Chem 1 w/lab Gen Biology w/lab A&P2 w/lab Summer 2017 (working full time). What is charting?
Just curious is all since I see a lot of nurses on allnurses say how they love nursing but not charting.
-
What is charting?
What is it that you chart as a nurse and how long does it take?

In a dilemma
Thank you for this!! I will definitely will need this for a&p. I'm a visual learner my self and this will do me wonders.

In a dilemma
Yeah they do. And unfortunately I missed one of the deadlines for the 3 payment option so I would have had to go with the 2 + down payment. But the good news is that I talked to the professor of a&p1 course personally and she is allowing me to take her class! But I can't be late or miss any or her classes because she said she is doing me a favor and will like to see hard work on my part.

Should I take out 25k for nursing school?
The nursing school that I'm applying for is a a private non-profit school with 16 month program for a BSN (or 21 month if you want the summer break). The school tuition and fees altogether is about 16000 and since I live 2 hours away from it I would need to take out and extra 7k-10k for housing. Does this seem like too much? I already owe 5k in student loans and will need to take another 5k for next school year in federal loans.

In a dilemma
Please read. So I'm in a dilema and need advice. I'm a pre-nursing student and Ilmy university is not offering a&p1 with ought taking the 3 prerequisites. I think this is b.s because I will be finishing up my first year this month and only planned on during another year of prerequisites before I go off to nursing school. And taking 3 prerequisites before I can take a&p1 will set me back another year of school and more loans. Even though I took Organic Chemistry w/Lab last semster and got A's in both which is a higher up science then the a&p1 prerequisites but my counselor is not budging. So I plan on just taking a&p1 at my community college this summer but it's $610 and I only have $300 to my name. My mom said she'll pay for it and save my 300 for next school year's books. But my my mom already owe 5,000 in taxes and struggling as it is and I don't want to be a burden on her. Plus, she is pregnant and doesn't have any reliable health insurance so she has to pay for all her doctor visits which is totaling 2k. I'm conflicted and don't know what to do. I would feel horrible if I put more stress on my mom's shoulders but I also really need this class. I tried putting $250 towards the class but my mom is serious about my books. But then I'm looking far into the future of when I could be a nurse and help take care of my mom (reason why I'm not pursuing to be a doctor). I just want to hear everyones thoughts on this because it is stressing me out.
