I just recently went before the board to rejoin IPN after leaving for personal reasons, I never had any issues the first time in , no positive tests or anything. However I missed my evaluation with the Doctor due to a very sick child and missed my deadline. I'm so scared any advice would be helpful.

I am so scared. I had an evaluation apt for readmittamce into IPN after leaving for personal reasons. Due to a very sick child I had to cancel the apt and missed my deadline. What do you think will happen? Will I have to go before the board again? This whole process has been a nightmare. I'm so exhausted with a sick child and now all these hoops to jump through not I mention the financial instability. Any advice would be so appreciated. Signed exhausted RN

I am rejoining IPN after leaving due to a family crisis and I'm astounding at the cost of an evaluation. The hair testing is so costly, while I get why they do it , it's just so pricey. I don't understand, I had AA sheets signed and filled out from all the time I was gone plus urine drug screens from the addictionogist I was seeing. So in my eyes proof of sobriety. I just think the costs have become extremely high. í ½í¸ž

Really? This is crazy! I've been sober 6 years and I'm certain all my tests will be negative. So disappointed .

And please so everyone knows I am not trying to try and cheat tests, nor promote using and cheating testing! I'm simply complaining about the cost, aka venting!

I am rejoining IPN after leaving for three years after a personal tragedy and finding that these evaluations , at least the one I called in Tampa, are requiring this crazy expensive hair test. I'm so discouraged already. I've been sober 6 years and I think his hair testing is barbaric and if they want is to do it at least make it affordable!

I cannot believe the new evaluations are including a hair test which is so expensive it's not funny. Unless it's just the evaluator I called bit they are quoting me $850!!! That's so insane!

I left IPN 3 years ago due to horrible personal tragedy. I am now resigning and being forced to undergo an evaluation. I am finding they are forcing these VERY expensive hair tests now. I have nothing to hide but do all the evaluators make you pay for this very expensive test? I'm so disappointed , $850 is a ridiculous amount of money for a single mom not working!
