  1. Yes, for our practical(in4 weeks) we'll need to open all the sterile kits.
  2. Are you guys ready for Monday?
  3. Wow, your experience is such an inspiration. I will be starting my nursing classes on Monday 08/22/2016 until summer 2017 and will try to maintain my full-time job. Like someone mentioned earlier in this post, it's best to keep my foot in the door since I'm working at a great hospital (as a Medical insurance verifier). I'll be sacrificing time away from my husband and 18mo son, but it'll be worth it in the long run. I know it will be one heck of a roller coaster. "Nothing worth having comes easy"

  5. Here are the books needed but I heard we'll barely use most of them. (Bridge at least) http://www.bkstr.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CourseMaterialsResultsView?catalogId=10001&categoryId=9604&storeId=10717&langId=-1&programId=1837&termId=100042659&divisionDisplayName=Nursing&departmentDisplayName=NUR&courseDisplayName=1025&sectionDisplayName=21679759&demoKey=d&purpose=browse
  6. Who knows what's in the sterile bag that we'll be using for the skills lab?
  7. they're having problems with their new system.
  8. Hey guys, those of you that attended orientation and were complaint with complio were able to registered for classes the same day??? For some reason the orientation for the bridge program don't have access to register yet. Also, we were advised that we must go in person to register.
  9. I went to Nursing Unlimited and got the cpr card that same day. You don't need to buy the book even though it says it's required.
  10. Hey Gobulls, you mentioned earlier on this thread that your titers weren't high enough so you had to get the vaccine? my titers were positive but barely making it and I noticed when I submitted the documents on complio they approved all my documents except the mmr, it's still pending review. Do you know if there's a specific average they want or as long as it's positive it's ok? Im just paranoid because everything was approved and those were overlooked.
  11. I was advised that we have to wait to be cleared in orientation to register.
  12. Hello fellow classmates, If you haven't done so already, you may get the titers and vaccines with your PCP with your medical insurance. If your doctor puts a physical and/or preventable diagnosis you might not have to pay anything depending on your insurance. who's done with the steps and is compliant with complio? if so, have you been able to register for class? I seen about 7 people have registered for the first class. please advise thanks,
  13. Hey future classmates, I'm planning on choosing the Generic PT for the 8 semesters because I would like to keep my current job. Does anyone knows if you're able to work at least 3 days with transition/bridge FT option? I'll be accepting the Generic PT on Friday but would've loved to finish sooner.
  14. Do you know how long is this option?
  15. Hey EblessN, I have a friend that her cumulative score was 79 and she got in.
  16. How many years is the generic PT and bridge FT? Does anyone know? I called advisement and spoke with the front desk which advised me that the Generic PT is a year and 4 months and the bridge FT is a year. I'm not sure this is correct.
  17. OMG HOW AWESOME CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!! DEBATING IF I SHOULD PICK GENERIC PT OR BRIDGE FT. MSG ME IF YOU'RE PICKING EITHER OR.
  18. omg I DONT BELIEVE THIS !!! I GOT ACCEPT INTO ALL OF THEM!! I JUST GOT THE EMAILS FOR GENERIC FT/ PT AND ACCELERATED. GOD IS SO GOOD.
  19. I applied for all available options and they responded to the accelerated one first... definitely was my last option. :/ Dont know if I should turn it down for the generic PT but then I don't want to jeopardize this opportunity.
  20. omggggggg I JUST GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE ACCELERATED PROGRAM!!! CHECK YOUR EMAIL!!!
  21. Omgggggggg i just got accepted into the accelerated program !!!! Check your email!!!!!

  23. Hey, Has anyone gotten the acceptance email yet? Who's going for the bridge FT and generic PT?
