  1. Hello All, Does everyone already took NCLEX exam when applying for the versant? I graduated in May and still waiting for my ATT number to take my NCLEX exam, but I decided to apply for the versant and just go with the flow. I'm going to have a virtual interview on Monday 7/19. I'm currently doing my research about general interview questions. Wish me luck!
  2. Hi Shawn, are you still working on neuro ICU floor? I'm currently working there as float pool PCT. I'm going to apply for August cohort 2021. If you do still working, I have questions. Email me at [email protected] Thank you wew I was expecting more.
  3. Hello everyone, internal applicant (that doesn't mean I'll get hire, easly). According to most coworkers, including that got hired into residency program. It's very difficult to get into USC Keck. Few years back, they said, USC had >500 nurse residency applicants, but only <50 got hired. Many internal applicants didn't get hired. I heard, 1st they prioritize BSN and up candidate. Because of this, I had to forced myself to registered for an online school at Chamberlain university for bridging RN-BSN-MSN program just so I have more chances to get accept it and I can put it on my resume that I'm currently continuing education. Anyway, I haven't submitted my applications. Still waiting the letter of recommendation from my nursing instructors. Honestly, I'm so stress and nervous about this. But guys, have a faith to yourself, at least try to apply. You never know about the future, you might get hire even though you don't meet the qualification. I really need to submit my application. The deadline is getting closer and closer.
  4. I'm 36 yrs old and still going ? Good luck to you all! and get ready to kick *** or to be kick by nursing school ?
  5. I totally understand you. Same here, I thought I did everything correctly, but nope, I had to redo one of my test. Anyway, it was super stressful because that's another $100 to spend, but I google it to find a community clinic. There're a lot in LA area. I called every clinic until I found one that only charge my test (Quanteferon Gold for TB) for $15 instead of a $100. Maybe you could try this number. Tell them it's for school, so they'll not charge you a lot. 5205 Melrose Ave. LA, CA 90038 P: 323-769-7800. Call today because you have to make an apt.
  6. I discussedthis issue with my fellow classmates when we took a fired safety class. We checkedthe typo and it's 8 AM. By the way, what do y'all thinks about making FB LATTC nursing group for us. We can post there for study group, questions, etc so we can all help each other for the next 2 years.
  7. I turned mine yesterday, but I email Angel to follow up to make sure everything is good to go but nope, I gotta redo my TB. Dang it! I'm sure everything is okay with yours.
  8. I also need the official schedule so I can apply for state insurance. I think M-F and start at 6Am-Noon
  9. Seriously, It's not too hard but somehow I can't print it out.
  10. You most likely will start in Fall 19 or latest Spring 20
  11. Can we meet up lol and so you can show me to do this course. .. this things is giving me headache
  12. Does anyone has any issue in printing out Workplace Violence course certificate? I've had finished the course, but I can't find any certificate to print. (yes, they send me to another web to print it but nothing). So I redo the course but still have the same issue. Help...
  13. I bought shoes from Wal-Mar for $19 each black and white. It's okay shoes just for school.
  14. See you everyone on the orientation ?
  15. Oh okay. I paid that. My family went to pay and get the school patches, but I didn't tell Angela, if I've paid ATI. I just email her the receipt on saturday I hope I'm not in trouble. I gotta call her this monday.
  16. Hi there, do we have to inform Angela if we already make payment for ATI $572? Because the letter says that all payment must be done by 3/22.
  17. I did pay the fees as well the ATI $600
  18. I used to live in Burbank area for 12 years but moved to Southern Oregon in 2016. Now I'm moving back to LA to attend Nursing School. I've been working in the hospital as CNA for almost a year. I said, it's worth it taking CNA class. I don't know where in LA for CNA class but there's one in Burbank area (If you google it, hopefully you can find one), and CNA class is only about 2 months long ?
  19. Rosie, don't forget to say hi to me at the orientation ?
  20. you know what, my letter is coming today ? I just check my mail on the website lol. I can't wait to receive and open it ?
  21. Is the orientation on April 8th? I haven't receive my letter yet, but she told me that I'm in for Fall 2019 and she told me to get ready for an orientation.
  22. Dang it!, I'm still waiting for my acceptance letter! I called her and spoke to her, that I'm in for fall 2019 so just wait for the letter.... I the letter will come any day next week.
  23. Hi there, I applied in somewhere Nov 2017 and suppose to start Jan 2nd 2019, but I had to postponed due to my last trimester pregnancy. So I'll be in the program this Fall 2019. Best advice for you, avoid a private school. Trust me, you don't want to be in debt once you grad from the program. I have CNA license and I've been working in the hospital for a year now and I learn a lot from my fellow nurses. At the same time, working in the hospital, I get to know what type a nurse I'll be working in. So I encourage you, while waiting to get acceptance from LATTC, go get CNA license then apply to work in the hospital. Save money for when you start your RN program. By the way, when you work in the hospital for a year, usually the hospital has a program for people wants to continue their education and they'll pay for it. Good luck!
  24. Has anyone get the news for Fall 2019 acceptance?
