Same thing with me

I haven't heard of anything other than just the email from ----------------------- on the 24th stating that I have moved on to the next phase.

I got an interview on Monday but I haven’t heard of anything after that.

They just called me and verified my top 3 units and said that they will be sending an email later for a confirmation.

I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe a change in the format of resume and cover letter might help? You can ask a professor or from your school. I asked my professor who works there for help on my resume and cover letter and I think it helped a lot. Did you also apply to other new grad programs as well?

Did they call you again today? If so, what did they say? They called me yesterday to give me some info regarding my interview on Monday as well and they told me that I will be receiving an email or a call today. I did receive their call but I was at work so I didn’t get the chance to answer it.

I was an alternate #12 before I got in this semester! You'll definitely get in. One thing for sure is that they don't notify you, even if you call them, if you've moved up the list. They're gonna call and email you if you got in.

Hm, maybe you'll have more chance if they receive your TEAS. I just called. They're still notifying people one by one and we hope to get our acceptance/rejection letter by the end of June to beginning of July (as usual). This is the 2nd week since they started notifying students who got accepted. I'm really getting worried.

You have a very high chance of getting in with your alternate #4. I'm alternate #12 at COC and I got in! Just received a call last Tuesday saying that a seat opened up for me. I'm just waiting for LAVC because it is my first choice as it is closer to my home. True, stay positive and good luck!

Could be. I just called and the woman said they are still working on the applications. They're going to notify us end of June or beginning of July. This is my second time applying to LAVC. Based on my experience , they notify selected students in the 1st or 2nd week of the month and send rejection letters a month after. So if people could just tell here if they got notified it would be great. At least we would know where we stand at the moment.

I haven't heard anything from them either. In last year's post, they notified students in the first week of June. I hope they call or email us as soon as possible. The wait is making me nervous!

Hey, I just called like a minute ago and glad she's there. I think her name is Gabby. So, she said that they're still working on it and asked me if already took the teas test. I said no and she said they're going to notify us a week in advance to take it if we ever got selected. Also, she said that they're going to notify us regardless of our status (if we get selected or not) before the winter break ends. I also mentioned that if they're started accepting students and she confirmed it and just said that they're working on it. I just hope that they really notify us. It just cruel to leave hopeful students hanging.

Where did you take your teas test? It did clearly state that they will invite students, but I haven't known anyone who took their teas test in that school.

I'm curious too. That's what I want to ask them so I called today, but the lady said that the one who's in charge for the applications will come in today at 10 AM. I'm not available to call them after 10 until 5 PM. Could you ask them if you don't mind?
