  1. Any updates on this position? Any experience during the pandemic? It’s 100% remote as of now. Is there a quota of calls? Are you using your own computer? Is there a quick access protocol book since you are not physically in a call center?
  2. I applied March 1st. I called last week and the director was not in. They said it's a rolling deadline and priority was March 1st.
  3. It's relieving to read I'm not the only one who hasn't heard anything back. NurseKrunch when did you submit your application if you don't mind me asking?
  4. Hey y'all this is a long shot but is there anyone who's applying for the BSN- DNP programs that's peeked through these threads? The cohorts are pretty small so I haven't been able to find threads or Facebook pages for it.
  5. Tanya, I have made you an admin within the Facebook group so that you guys will take reign of the group! Congrats again.
  6. Hey y'all! Congratulation on getting in! I am a part of the May cohort. I am apart of a student lead group at UR called LIFT. We are here to help you transition into the program. I moved from xxxx so I know what its like. I have created a Facebook page for yall to start to get things in order. There it would behove you to coordinate living arrangements etc. Ive attached the link below. It is titled University of Rochester ABPNN January 2017 (closed group) Add each other at your leisure and contact me as well. Feel free to ask me whatever you like! Log into Facebook | Facebook
  7. Nearly everyone gets private loans. If you search for the "Rochester September 2015" thread on here an individual explains it pretty well. It's a good deal of money but you're going into a great program in an amazing field. Make sure you look for loan providers that will give you the amount you need. Some are have specific options for accelerated programs because it's a good chunk of money for just one year. Traditional undergraduate loans have a max of maybe $45K which is barley half of what you need. The estimated cost is way more than I think it should be when they factored in living expenses. (Tuition alone is over $60K). If you look for the Facebook page L.I.F.T we will be posting some tips for yall soon! Its advisable to create a Facebook page for your cohort as well. There you can start finding roommates etc
  8. Thanks! We start final demos next week!
  9. Hey guys Im apart of the May 2016 cohort and am here to answer any questions y'all got...I was on here prior to getting in and it was super helpful. All of the current students are extremely supportive and willing to provide any information you might need. Concerning the waitlist; it depends on how many people they take from what I've heard in the past. They took quite a few for our cohort and yes sometimes people find out the week before classes start. It sucks but they all made it work; its not impossible. I know this wait is torturing but it will be worth it
  10. I sent you a message already. Sometimes these notifications don't come in
  11. Do you mind emailing me? I start this May and those are definitely interesting questions I have not thought about yet sound very interesting and since I have no experience in the program as of yet I wouldn't know how to navigate which questions to irk or even wish I asked haha.
  12. Thank you so much, I didn't get a notification that you responded. I am extremely nervous about making sure I select the right area, landlords etc. I probably won't be bringing a car because I'm sure it would need to be AWD or 4WD. I live out of state and that is not what we typically drive around here haha. I will definitely be in touch as I continue doing some research. Thank you for taking the time out to respond. Good grace on your studying!
  13. Hey y'all, I will be apart of the May 2016 cohort and was wondering if any of you know of specific housing that will available (individuals graduating or moving out). There's a good number of us coming from the west coast and me from out of state with zero clue on housing haha. I know y'all are extremely busy studying and such but it would be a HUGE help! :)
  14. Hey y'all, I will be apart of the May 2016 cohort and was wondering if any of you know of specific housing that will available (individuals graduating or moving out). There's a good number of us coming from the west coast and me from Texas with zero clue on housing haha. I know y'all are extremely busy studying and such but it would be a HUGE help! :)

  16. Got a call this afternoon... I was accepted! Finally!
  17. Knightwhosaysni Do you happen to have any insight as to when they are going to start down the list? This wait is killing me
  18. Nothing... Emailed NK to make sure she got my form; she said she received it. :/
  19. Before they come edit your post I need to inform you we are not allowed to use real names of staff or faculty here haha. I actually knew of E.A. prior to her becoming director so I have been in contact with her as well as N.K. throughout my application process. I agree with you when I say they are both extremely sweet, honest and helpful! Like seriously they are very very nice even with so many students constantly contacting them haha. I applied for the bachelors program FYI, not the masters. As you said I was under the impression that the masters program takes in a ridiculously low number of candidates; I want to say 2 is what I was told when I made a visit to the campus. Thanks for your speedy response and again any info you can get would make this extra waiting more bearable! Haha
  20. Thats very nice of you to offer thanks. I saw you posted in another thread that you applied to the May 2016 cohort, I am assuming you are on the waiting list as well?... In compliance of your job I note I do understand there is oh so much you can tell us, but again any information is much appreciated:). How deep is this waiting list? What is their system of choosing who to take from said list and how many spots would you guesstimate are opening up? I am confused about the "spot availability" of masters vs bachelors candidates. In reading several forums on this sites and especially on our forum it seems like a good number of masters applicants were only accepted for the bachelors program. When a masters candidate is accepted into the masters program what does that do to the number of available spots? I was told during my interview that there were 66 spots available for this cohort. Does that 66 include masters and bachelors students since ideally they would together for the first year? Again I understand the discretion that may be used because you work for the school and are an applicant as well. I am not assuming you are working with admissions I just thought you'd catch some here say haha. Anything you could answer would be great!
  21. Came home to my letter as well. Looks like we are in the same boat Bear99. Cheers to more waiting and high blood pressure haha.
  22. Oh okay. Yeah looks like only the people that applied to the masters program initially have gotten any news. Good grace to the rest of us! Congratulations to those who have already heard!
  23. Did anyone originally apply to the ABPNN? Not the masters program?
  24. Yeah I am holding off as well. In one of the treads from 2015 there was an individual that didn't get an acceptance call until about 10 days after people said they got their calls. I have no clue just fingers crossed and praying!
