  1. Thanks for the response
  2. Hello, I'm surprised at the bolded, because I was told by my IDA if I work overtime, I might even be able to finish up within 2.5 years.
  3. Hi everyone, I'm signed up with HC as well. Ds260 submitted. In the process of sending my documents to NVC to be documentarily qualified. I'm yet to be scheduled for interviews with potential employers. At what stage will this happen? Also when did you all get your visascreen? My cgfns portal is still waiting for NCLEX pass result. From this stage onwards, how many months am I looking at before embassy interview? Thanks very much.
  4. Can you send me a dm. Can't send one. Don't know how to connect with u guys. Your Philippines degree ain't a waste. So many things u can do with it. And truly foreigners need to stop studying health related courses in the Philippines. It's too emotionally draining and time wasting.
  5. Yes, wils is correct. I also finished from phils and I've got my ATT from NewYork BON
  6. Hi all, Anyone here into this? Just started my application as an overseas trained nurse. Can't find anyone else who's also into this.
  7. I share your sentiment. The process is like a gamble. It's quite expensive with no idea of what to expect and all. If I eventually make up my mind, I'll prepare for the NCLEX and osce on my own without paying for preparatory class. I figure if I don't pass the osce, I can pay 4k to retake it instead of paying the 5k for preparatory class haha. I'll just go with my luck. This is where UK is quite enticing, but the pay is poor and it takes a longer time and money to get PR.
  8. I'm so interested in your question. I want to know if I can use US NCLEX reviewers to prepare too. Furthermore, I graduated from the Philippines. I can't find anyone who's done with the OSCE, I'll like to know if I can pass it on my own without joining a preparatory class. The class is a rip off, cheapest I see is $5k
  9. Thanks for d reply. Appreciateí ½í±
  10. Hi all. Please must I be a registered nurse to take the bridging program? As in,can a fresh graduate take the bridging course?
  11. Hi, Am currently in year 2 bsc nursing in a Philippines college. I'll like to transfer to Australia to finish the course because I just got to know I can't write the board exam in the philippines after completion of the course as I am a foreign student. I'll like to inquire about some of the cheap nursing schools I can apply to. And are Philippines courses credited, can I transfer courses? Tia
  12. Hello, wil19. Have u gotten a lenient state?
  13. Oops. It's tough. U can start with Texas bon, heard they are lenient. Better still, y not post this on nairaland or nigeriannursesforum. Maybe there'll be someone who has done this before. Most people I know always went back to get licenced in Nigeria tho. Best of luck bro. Following u closely to see what works
  14. We are in this together. Am also a Nigerian studying nursing in d phils. Have you tried sending a message to CFGNS? Explain d situation and ask if a letter of explanation will fly? I think they are more particular about a local licence more than the BONs
