  1. I didn't have to interview. I received my acceptance letter within a month or so of applying for Summer 2022 Denton online FNP program
  2. I received my acceptance for Summer FNP online Denton Campus. Any one else starting Summer 2022
  3. To help ease your troubles, I graduated May 2019 and I got accepted my first time applying with stats similar to yours, 4.0 core classes gpa and a 2.9 overall. Rough start initially. For ADN program they only look at your core classes gpa. On paper you are a very competitive applicant. Good luck!
  4. I also used UWorld and Hurst. I highly recommend UWorld. I got through all 2144 questions and I also completed two assessments. UWorld was the best study tool for me as I really appreciated the detailed rationales and the complexity of some of the questions. It definitely help facilitate critical thinking. Took my exam June 11th and found out I passed 2 days later. My test also shut of at 75 questions.
  5. Collin Spring 2018 Nursing Class otherwirse DM your username.
  6. Collin Spring 2018 Nursing Class Facebook group created.
  7. BrittJ412, this woman right here has some of the best AA, and PSB scores I have seen!
  8. I answered all questions, I left nothing unanswered as we were advised that overall evaluation considers all correctly answered questions only, and not the ones answered incorrectly. Is this a fact? I am not sure but it is because of this that I tried my best to answer everything. There have been some people that have scored in the 90's in all three sections of AA. I would be curious to know what method they utilized
  9. I used to mometrix PSB for nursing study guide I found it helpful to some extent. Academic Aptitude is a killer, not because the subject matter is difficult but because of the amount of questions that need to be answered within a 15 minute time span. 90 questions, verbal, non-verbal and math. I managed to score an 82 in that section. I am sure others have a better approach but here is what I did. I tackled that section first. As i was moving through the test I was answering all the questions I knew the answers to. Primarily focusing on verbal and non-verbal as the answer were somewhat instinctual when looking at the options. Math on the other hand was tough and unfortunately I don't have any helpful tips to offer other than I answered all questions, even the ones I didn't know the answer to.
  10. hi! Accepted student's have until October 16th to return signed intent agreement so I imagine around that timeline, though I am not exactly sure. Best of Luck!
  11. Best of luck to everyone still waiting, all those waitlisted, and all those who will be trying next cycle. Don't lose hope!
  12. Guys, my mail carrier delivered my letter to the wrong post box. Some one else in my neighborhood has the same street #. Any how i got accepted! Recap of my stats: Associate's of Science from Collin. AA 82 SP 83 RC 91 NS 87 VA 97. 4.0 GPA, all science classes completed at Collin I have completed stats, nutrition, and chemistry. Currently enrolled in Chem II. I think they are looking at a variety of things when reviewing candidates
  13. Anyone else not get a letter in today? The fact i didn't get a letter is causing much anxiety. So far only two of us have said we didn't get a letter
  14. I just don't get it. You and I also have very similar stats, i haven't gotten a letter yet but considering your situation i am fearful. The only difference is bachelor's degree. My friend also had very similar stats but a bachelors and she received he acceptance letter today
  15. Was your micro in progress?
  16. Perhaps previous Bachelor's degree played a role?
  17. Darn, well i am just going to crawl in a hole and burst into flames. I just can't anymore. Yes, I am being dramatic but y'all know where i am coming from. Sorry you didn't get in but i did notice TWU waitlisted you so best of luck! Pray for the best!
  18. I wonder if letters were printed by last names and mailed in some sort of order? My last name starts with a W. Pretty farfetched but I am just trying to rationalize not having received our letters.
  19. Would you share your stats with the rest of us hopefuls please
  20. I am seriously about to loose it!
  21. I haven't gotten a letter yet and I live in Mckinney. My mail carrier already went by. I feel as though i am going to spontaneously combust.
  22. I feel like I'm about to throw up. No letter yet for me, did you score above 40 in verbal, non verbal, and math too?
  23. Mail delivery for my area is normally 5ish. No mail yet, well there was mail but hoping it was from saturday. Another former classmate of mine got her letter in today too.
