  1. Hey Christina. Happy to meet you! I haven't received any confirmation of that, or creating a university account or anything. I'm sure it's coming over the next few weeks though!
  2. Hey. I hope you are well. I have not heard this information yet other than the email saying classes were being registered on November 12th, but have not heard anything else. I'm assuming it will be very soon like within the next few weeks. I don't think the clinical stuff is due until we actually start clinical in 2026 though. Hopefully we will get that information soon!
  3. I think from what I understand, they stopped doing rolling admissions now, and believe they only took 15 out of 120-150 applicants from what I understood.
  4. Hey there. It was a really great interview experience. It wasn't a clinical scenario interview, but rather a personality and emotional intelligence interview. It's an individual interview where they get to know you. The questions were "why do you want to be a nurse anesthetist", "tell us how you manage your time", "how do you deal with stress at work", "what do you do for self care", "tell us how you have dealt with a difficult boss or coworker and how you handled it". I hope that helps. Two of my professors from undergrad were on the panel(who teach the online DNP courses) as well as a current student and the director and assistant director of the program. After the interviews, a walking tour of the sim lab and campus are done. It was a phenomenal interview experience, where they truly get to know a person. I hope that helps. I just got the email that they have almost completed the OR simulation lab. LaSalle just got a grant to build and innovate an entire anesthesia simulation lab. It's going to be an amazing program. I'm so excited to start.
  5. Hey y'all! I am starting in January 2025 as well. I went to La Salle for my undergrad BSN. I had a great interview experience and am so excited to return back to campus after 4 years. I think I just got the email that we are being registered for classes soon. So very excited. I loved La Salle and really think this new program will be phenomenal. If anyone wants to connect, feel free to respond
  6. Congrats!! I am so happy for you. I'm still waiting for my interview email. But hope it comes soon. Did you hear back from LaSalle? I haven't heard from them yet either after the interview. I am so happy for you again!
  7. Congrats! When is your interview date? I hope to get mine soon. I can't believe I applied in November and still haven't gotten a response. ?
  8. @SocialButterflyNurse when did you get the invite? Congrats to you! I still have heard nothing and applied November of 2023
  9. So happy for you Scarlet Rose! I hope I get mine this week as well. I'd imagine they are reviewing them for everyone now. It's going to be a tough decision!
  10. They also only take a class of 16 people at LaSalle. They are doing one more round of interviews and then switching from rolling to a deadline. I kind of like the small classroom setting though. It was good to be back on campus after 4 years!
  11. It was a really positive interview experience. Very friendly, and the tour was good. They actually received a 1 million dollar grant to create an entire operating room simulation. It is being built and organized before the first class starts clinical in 2025. No clinical questions were asked, just typical emotional questions. I really should it. They said we should know within a month. The director and assistant director both worked at Cooper for 25 or more years and are very experienced in the field and well respected. It's going to be a great new program. But I'm anxiously awaiting an email from Drexel too!
  12. Congrats Scarlet Rose! Although it was so good to see you and meet you at LaSalle! I am hoping to get an email soon from Drexel! Did they send it as an email? I have a feeling it's coming this week for me too! But you applied about a month earlier than me. ?
  13. I don't have the questions. I was just using a general search and a book I used in undergrad. That would be so nice of you.
  14. I think that La Salle was relatively new to transitioning when they interviewed the last class recently. They are in their first semester now. But, they did receive 10 years of accreditation for their new program. And after reviewing their course curriculum, it still seems to be solid and intensive and focused. When I researched the accreditation it says they have 20 clinical sites on board. I can't imagine that they wouldn't be prepared. Maybe the sim lab was empty since it was the new start. I think all nursing programs are short staffed for education. I wouldn't be surprised if Drexel also has this issue. I'm applying to only the schools that allow you to work for the first year or so to save up some more money. I have been preparing for my interviews this weekend. It's a struggle being a night shifter and getting back to normal on days off. I hope that we hear something soon. I would think it would be relatively soon. In terms of the Drexel deadline, I also only knew about the 03/31 deadline through email. It is not posted anywhere. I would imagine they are going through tons of applications. Has to be a rough time.
  15. I am going to see for myself before I make an informed decision. They have had a stellar rep in the city for years now. I think Kost is giving some of his info to LaSalle to pass on the legacy instead of giving it to Jefferson. It will be a tough decision for me. I went to La Salle for undergrad, and loved it. It was so individualized and structured. I think given a chance, it will be the very best. I am hoping that Drexel will email very soon. I am getting so anxious, but at least I know I have one interview. I am just excited to be to this point really! I've worked so hard as a CICU nurse. I'm ready. ?
