I would not work as a tech if I had a choice. I been working as a tech for 6 years and working as one makes you hate healthcare, because the nursing staff is so hateful and belittling to CNA's. The pay suck, but you will get a lot of on the job experience. That will show you if nursing is the job for you.

Teas V was harder than TEA 6 to me. I studied the Teas 5 book to take the teas V but my school only use ATI now, and I made a 58 % on the AJI score. The science and English section of the book I feel is different from what I studied. I used the "Teas for Dummies book" so I do not know how the ATI book from the actual company ATI would have worked for someone.

I am studying the test 5 book because I don't have the money to keep buying new books and am hope am studying the right stuff.Thank you for this information!

I feel the same way but I havent finish school yet or got into a program. I knew I wanted to be a Rn since i was young but I am really starting to hate being a cna :CCC i dont think i can do this job for another year at all.

I have been working in healthcare for over 7 long years. I have been a CNA 6 of those years. I am at the point that I just can do this job any more . The staff and the family members are just so belittling. I have a lot to offer a healthcare facility and I love helping people and I have great customer service experience do anyone know and other job I should try in healthcare while I attempting to finish my degree.?

Has anyone else notice how bad hospitals have become am 7 years into health care and am happy . I will be retiring next year
