I applied for the 1st time in SEP 2016. I found out in FEB 2017 that I was not selected. I have always heard it is wise to apply 3 times, as a lot of people get selected that 3rd time.
Yup I am still in the Navy for a little while longer. I did see all the castlebranch stuff changed, which is good. I haven't heard too much about clinicals, but what you are saying with 50 hrs/week seems about right.

@ ZAR963 I just wanted to see how the residency program was for you? And also do you have any advice. I am going to be an August graduate as well and it is very hard to find residencies that match up with that timeframe. Thank you.

For MECP, you should really start now as far as getting everything in order. You will need to get an interview with your CO. In addition you will need to do a board with 3 officers (1 of which needs to be an RN). I would highly suggest the members...
