  1. Navy Nurses FY18 MECP

    Hello Everyone! First off, thanks for taking the time to read this! I understand the Navy's Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP) is a recurring topic on this forum, but I haven't seen any related threads within the past couple years. I'm active duty (Enlisted) and I'm looking to make a pretty significant career change from my current job to hopefully commissioning via MECP to become an RN after schooling, of course. As I work to get my package together for the FY18 submission deadline which is around May-Jun 2017 at my command, I'm seeking any guidance or mentorship from someone who has essentially "been there, done that." I'd love to know about your experience as a Navy Nurse in general or with the MECP process in particular. Any and all input is welcome as I prepare to begin applying through this great program. I look forward to your feedback! - Brian
