  1. Update: My name posted today officially in the registry!!!!! My total wait was 15 days, no clue why it took so long for me, but I don't even care anymore!!!
  2. Just wanted to give an update. Today I called the CA BRN, and they said they are "not sure why I haven't received my results letter yet" and they are going to "look into it." Honestly I might lose my mind. A similar thing happened to me when I was waiting for my ATT, where they said I should have received it and I never did. I feel like I have no control whatsoever, and the people at the Board seem unconcerned with the fact that I am losing job opportunities. I'll give another update after I call them again tomorrow.
  3. Fingers crossed for you Lewispayne!! Hopefully this will be over for both of us soon and we'll be licensed RNs!!
  4. Hi jonah1105, are you in California? Also did you apply for an interim permit? I'm hoping the reason I haven't heard yet is because I'm in Colorado.. I honestly don't know what I'll do if I failed! It's making me sick to my stomach, how does California not have quick results?!?!
  5. I took my NCLEX on Thursday, September 6th. I know that California does not offer Quick Results (very frustrating), but I have heard that you can check on Search - DCA to view your license. Apparently if you passed, your name should be listed after 2-3 days. Today is day 3 for me, and I still have heard no news and my name is still not listed. My test shut off at 78 questions and I felt very good about it, although of course now I am seriously starting to doubt myself. Is anyone else in this situation? I know that technically with California they tell you that you can be waiting for 6 weeks before getting your results, but I think I might lose my mind waiting. Any help or advice would be appreciated!
  6. It's making me crazy! Did you get an email to let you know that the ER position was filled, or did you only find out from checking your account? At this point I am basically preparing myself to just reapply for their spring program.
  7. I applied to Med/Surg/PCU, Med/Onc/PCU, and IMU/PCU! So far all of mine are listed as "Application Received." I am planning on applying to every posting that comes up. It's driving me crazy though to not have more updates! To think that the program would start in October and there has been minimal communication is really starting to stress me out. Did you guys apply to any other hospitals? I applied to Scripps and Sharp, I heard from Scripps saying that I didn't get a position. I have yet to hear any updates from Sharp.
  8. Hello! I didn't see any existing threads about the UCSD New Graduate Program that starts in October. I thought I would start one so that we can share updates and tips with each other. I submitted my application a few weeks ago, and right now my Job Status is listed as "Open."
  9. Thank you!! I submitted my application a few weeks ago. Do you remember about how long after applying that you were contacted for an interview?
  10. Hi all! I am applying for the October start date and I would love to hear some updates. How are you finding the New Grad program? Was their anything you wish you had done differently with your application? Thanks :)
  11. Any updates from you guys would be great! I am applying for the October start date, and would love to know more about the process you went through :)
  12. Hi there! Any chance you can give an update? I will be applying for the October start New Grad program and would love to hear any tips you have :)
  13. I believe the positions will be posted in August for the New Grad program that starts in October!
  14. Hi I just came across this thread, I also was accepted to the Scottsbluff campus for Fall 2016! Are you in the traditional or accelerated program?
  15. Hi Montana, There were a few different threads that were started about the Summer '15 Traditional program, here's the link for the one that has seen a lot more action! https://allnurses.com/colorado-nursing/applying-to-uc-1020549-page5.html#post8783212 This way more people can see what you posted, I know I appreciated it so I bet everyone on that thread will too :)
  16. I have a morning interview! I'll be seeing you at the crack of dawn haha
  17. Kylee thank you so much! I also was wondering how formal was the interview? I know it's always better to be overdressed than under-dressed, but do you remember what most people wore for the interview last year?
  18. Jasmine I'm hoping for the South Denver location, what about you?
  19. Kylee, can I ask whether you did anything different this year when you applied a second time?
  20. I'm so happy for all of us!!!! I am so relieved now that I have an interview!!! See everyone on November 16th :)
  21. Haha that's crazy, small world!! I was looking at a forum from last year for students applying for the Summer 2015 start, and something I came across was that they were all told that they would hear by October 30th, and then when the day came no one heard. Later that night they all got emails saying that CU Denver had received so many applications that they were extending the notice date. They all didn't end up getting emails until the next week, but everyone in the forum ended up getting asked back. Who knows if that will be the same situation for all of us.. But it definitely calmed me down to read over their forum. There are some tips for the interview too. Here is the link to last years forum if anyone would like it: https://allnurses.com/colorado-nursing/applying-to-uc-951179.html
  22. I finished all my prerequisites except for A&P II, which I am taking now. Unlike you I didn't have a lot of work experience, but I do have a lot of volunteer experience. My GPA is a 3.6, which is what I am most worried about because I know it's not very competitive. I know what you mean about wanting CU Denver, it has been my top choice since I decided on nursing!! My back up school is Denver School of Nursing, and I will be applying there in the next few weeks. I'm glad all of us are in the same boat, I can barely focus on what I am doing today because all I can think about is receiving an email...
  23. I live in Fort Collins so I will just drive down for the day, that is if I ever get this email.. But that's crazy! Is there no option for Skype interviews if you are out of state?
  24. This is the longest day of my life..
  25. Yeah, so we basically have an 11 hour window open for us to definitely hear something. I'm going crazy!!
