  1. I get what you mean but a lot of schools are like this, too. Rush for example has two wait lists and tells some of its students where they are on the waitlist and get updates. Some students are just told that they were waitlisted and don't even get updates (similar to what UIC's doing). I never even got a reply from Marquette until I called them and asked.
  2. look into your my uic account and it should ask you somewhere right on the front page.
  3. That's odd! I got an email but my online account still says referred to committee or something along those lines
  4. Me too! I clicked the link in the email to accept my spot. It was so exciting that it was a blur and am paranoid I hit the deny option.. But I remember clicking the first option and rereading it like three times.. Omg I don't even remember how to pay the 250 because I assumed they'd send a confirmation email with the same info..
  5. Whaaat? I was in a group of five students and had two interviewers. Maybe it's because I applied to the Urbana campus.. *edit* NEVERMIND YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT ELMHURST LOL derp.
  6. You guys are freaking me out!! My account hasn't changed. *cries*
  7. Same with me and Xavier's Midas program
  8. Oh yay!! I'm from Chicago and graduated from Loyola. I'm still waiting on UIC's entry program and am kind of hoping to get into that one because it's actually cheaper than Xavier. I paid for my seat at Xavier just in case though. ;D I'm super excited I've been browsing for stethoscopes already!
  9. Oh good luck! Where are you from? I got email from them and then a physical envelope a week or two after.
  10. Do you mind if I asked you what your pay will be? I'm just curious because.. 92k.. damn. ._."
  11. I haven't but I assume it's serves as an aide copy that just narrates the file. I mean all three are kind of the same thing.. >.
  12. Lol seriously that's how I felt too!! I was thinking "well do they want my life story or what.. *looks at clock*"
  13. Do you know how many get accepted to the Urbana campus? o.o
  14. loans, tears, and loans.
  15. Got in with 3.00 (over 150 credits though), 309 4.0.
  16. Does anyone have any information on this program? I just submitted my deposit yesterday. I'm hoping a current or past student can drop by and talk about it. I'm wondering why Xavier requires 5 semesters and 79 credit hours to finish the program but other schools like Augusta's CNL program require only 4 semesters and 60 credit hours. Xavier averages about 18 credits per semester but Augusta's about 13. What a difference! Xavier accepts only 35 so I'm wondering if everyone's always in one class or the students get mixed in with the BSN crew.
  17. Same here! My gpa is only 3.01 and my gre is 309 so I'm trying to keep my hope super low though..
  18. Thanks and that's great news! Do you mind me asking you if Rush told you your rank in the 1st or 16th?
  19. Waitlisted. :/ I'm actually kind of annoyed because it looks like Rush told some of the waitlisted applicants that they're not ranking the waitlist and yet told others their ranks (which means they were ranking the waitlist) Congrats though!
  20. Nope. Never got a ranking the first email, never got a ranking on the 16th. I guess my app is in the throwaway pile :/. I got "Based on what has occurred in previous years there is no guarantee of admission. The Admissions Committee will not be ranking this waitlist; however, in the event that a seat becomes available, we will contact you."
  21. ughh me too I asked a couple of people about people getting off the waitlist in the past but everyone said it varies. Molly said something along the lines of how in the past, it was as low as 2 and as high as 20.
