We both interviewed for MICU/MIMU at the same time. They didn't specifically tell us how many were available, but I heard it was 2-3 for each unit. I am not sure a about all other ICUs though. Thank you and good luck!

They called me and a friend this morning at 10 offering us the position we interviewed for. It was for the ICU units so they may be calling other days for different units. Good luck to everyone!

I had an interview with MICU/MIMU at Ben Taub December 8th. I still have not heard anything back. I have emailed and called and keep being told they are working on it. Has anyone else heard back or accepted a position with HH?

There are a bunch of threads on here from previous nursing students that are attending HBU.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. You have great scores! The only thing is HBU students get first pick if they apply for the program. But I think you have a great shot.

I just got an email. I was accepted as an alternate again...

If your HESI scores were that good I am sure your TEAS were not that bad. The minimum to apply is a 64% at TWU I believe. And I applied to TWU, HBU, and UTHEALTH. I was going to apply at UTMB.... but the deadline is the 15th and I don't want to move to the island... but if I don't get in this round I will apply there as well.

Oh sorry, I am on a TWU thread as well and I had to take my TEASV for that. HESI A2 READING 88% GRAMMAR 86% ENGLISH 86% SCIENCE 80% CUMULATIVE 87% It doesn't show on my paper for some reason what I got on my CT, but I think it was around 900. Good luck! Is this your first time applying?

It's killing me! I was accepted as an alternate last fall, but didn't make it through. So I fingers crossed for this semester! I called yesterday and she said they were still working on it.
