  1. Hi guys! I just forfeited my spot in the program as I was just accepted to my #1 school choice last week and have decided to attend there instead. Fingers crossed that some of y'all get a phone call soon! Best of luck! ?
  2. Dayton here, too! I’ve actually heard pretty good things. We’ll only have to suffer through one Winter?
  3. My attachment-less email just came so it looks like there is a small individual lag between each person!
  4. I interviewed at 8:30 am the first day and didn’t get my clinical site email until around 6 pm. ?
  5. I got an interview as well! Good luck guys, hopefully we all get to be classmates next year ?
  6. Hey y’all! If I recall correctly, in the most recent Zoom meeting they said they’d notify us of interview invitations on 6/30. So I think we should expect it next week!
  7. My interview in the beginning of May and I received my acceptance letter on the about 6 days later! I'm paying my deposit but am waiting on an interview with one more school to make my final decision. ?
  8. I submitted mine on 4/25, and since then have had to send in an additional transcript and a second GRE score. I also got a nursingCAS notification email after I submitted, but that’s all so far!
  9. Oops I submitted my comment too early, my bad LOL. It was supposed to say: Their administrative person Kimberly could see my application before I submitted it, I think they can view it in real time. I’ve emailed her about pieces of my application coming in at different times (GRE scores, transcript, etc) and she could see it reflected on her end. I received no confirmation email directly from TCU after my submission. Hope that helps! ?

  11. Hey y’all! Joining this thread as a January hopeful… I just submitted my app the other day. The Zoom session was primarily the attendees asking questions in the chat and faculty answering. Lots of questions about GRE scores, clinical sites, etc. Their admissions page is so comprehensive there wasn’t really much that you would’ve missed if you didn’t make it! Clinical sites are ranked by the applicants’ preferences, and whoever has the most legitimate reason to stay in DFW gets assigned there (kids, family, etc.). Otherwise, you’ll likely be assigned a different site. I saw someone asking about stats up above. I will say I definitely believe they look at you holistically because I know some students in the program who had GPAs in the 3.5 - 3.6 range with average volunteer involvement or experience, so it’s not necessarily just all about having a “perfect-on-paper” resume. But I’m sharing mine just for a reference frame since I know a lot of people like to have something to gauge their own info against! GPA - 3.8 overall, science 3.97. 2 years CVICU experience, 1.3 years full time staff and approaching 1 year as a traveler currently. 305 GRE (155V 150Q - took it twice because it was super tough for me and improved to this score - they do want you to send all available scores). 113/125 CCRN, lots of volunteering across the board, both medical and community. No work committees, attended both RN and Anesthesia workshops, shadowed for 24 hours. I’ll be lurking this board as the weeks pass. I hope we all get accepted and can be classmates come January!
