  1. LOVE THIS! I didn't have enough time to take the Qtrainers, and I feel like the Qbank has touched base on everything we learned in nursing school. I pray I pass, only a few days left until I take my first attempt ?
  2. Good morning everyone! I just got off shift at the hospital and now I can't even sleep because I'm just too nervous about the NCLEX I have coming up in just a few days! So I want to vent and then ask serious questions. I graduated from a BSN program this summer, I have a job already lined up and start in a couple months!! Due to stressors I decided to go ahead and take a couple weeks off after graduation for some R&R. Now the big NCLEX countdown has started. I have been using passpoint for several months and felt SUPER confident. In fact I was scoring about the "NCLEX passing threshold". Decided to ask classmates that had taken the NCLEX how Passpoint compared, along with study tips. WORST IDEA EVER! I was told how easy PassPoint was vs. NCLEX and that there were TONS of medications, delegation, and pt. placement scenarious (droplet, airborn, contact). SO! I went ahead and took advice of several classmates and downloaded the Kaplan QBank for $50. THEN scored 58% on the first exam and nearly passed out. I find out later it's ideal to meet a 60% or better. So, for three days have been studying and doing my Kaplan studying. Now I'm up to 68%, passpoint I'm reaching 7.5-8 (8 being highest level), but still can barely recall important side effects of medications (okay, maybe I know some but not nearly as many as I should!) So I have 6 days left. Tell me your experiences with Kaplan, Passpoint, and what worked for you. I did use the Kaplan test book some, and it help with strategy. Thanks much!
