  1. I recently took the pharmacy test and scored 98. It's more medication heavy than dosage calc. Just use the bmae rn study guide from rn.com! It is enough. It doesn't ask detailed specific side effects. Honestly very basic knowledge of medications and what you would monitor/assess for. Like assessing for hypotension in someone who took a BP med.
  2. @rabraham if you lack content, I would suggest buying a content review book. The qbanks are very helpful! They have around 2000 questions. Even if you don't get Kaplan qbank, always do questions everyday and review the content with a review book (even if you got the questions right) What I found was very important for NCLEX is making sure you know what the topic is or what the question is asking (either looking at the question or the answer choices. Kaplan will help you with technique). Also, knowing the content. They are equally important because the you would need the content to answer SATAs.
  3. They are rationales to the trainers. So when I got them wrong or right, I just copied the rationales straight from Kaplan
  4. Hi all, I wanted to create a post with some resources that I used. I recently posted my own story and a lot of people requested for my notes. But emailing everyone individually was difficult so i'm creating links to them for anyone who wishes to use them! I did not make these: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hsqhy1mmbee6c8y/CommonDrugStemsCheatSheet.pdf?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/3m1ox1914yeccdb/nurseslabs-cram-sheet.pdf?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/8x02pttj19cq2hv/NCLEXCHARTS.pdf?dl=0 MINE: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tkqou8cw4xzruaz/QT1.docx?dl=0 Meds: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vsj0uotew6c0fx8/med.pptx?dl=0 My kaplan instructor sent us this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0u7j94t3jh9hbgx/NCLEX%20Summary%20Sheet-1.doc?dl=0
  5. Hi! You left a private message for me, but I was unable to private message you back since my account is new, so I found your thread. Anyway, since the first 3 question trainers are more content based, it seems as if you're pretty good in content, but it doesn't hurt to get a NCLEX review book to review the content when you remediate your questions (if you want). The rest of the question trainers are meant to get harder because they're questions that are more passing level with application and analysis type questions. Do you apply Kaplan's strategies when you answer the questions? I realized if I didn't know the topic exactly, using the strategy helped a lot. Look in your kaplan resources for videos going over the decision tree and there's a document somewhere as well outlining how to answer priority/delegation questions. good luck!
