  1. So how is it going? I'm starting in 3 weeks! I need details....
  2. Hey everyone! I'm starting the FNP program at Chamberlain July 6th. I have applied to other colleges, mostly local, but Chamberlain is the first one who responded to me. To be honest, they have really made me feel like number 1 from the beginning. They worked on financial aid, my schedule, my preferences, etc. Very quickly! I'm tired on waiting on those other colleges, they all drag their feet. I'm nervous about graduate school, any one else with me? I have heard good and bad about Chamberlain, but I can't base an opinion on what I've heard. I will say I'm not very excited about having to travel for Immersion. I live in North Carolina. I know I will have to put the work in and work hard. I'm a mom of 3 boys, 38 yrs old and I work full time at a local hospital in the ED. My life is going to be busy, as usual. I would love to hear from others who are starting during this semester. Best of luck to yall.
  3. Yes! Me! I took my first exam 2 weeks ago. We must make an 80 to pass. I made a 79. Yep. 1 point from passing. At first I really let it get to me. I mean some people passed with flying colors and didn't study half as much as I did, this really frustrated me. But I just prayed about it and went and talked to my instructor. She said the first test is always the worst. (Let's hope) Anyway, speaking from experience, you have to move on. I know exactly how you feel. I was in your shoes two weeks ago. Don't let it shake you! We are student nurses. We have to learn somehow. Keep that head up and keep going. You got this! My next test is Thursday. 😁 Good luck to you!
  4. Connie, show our new nurse, Dave, around the hospital. Please don't lose him.
