Hello All! I'm graduating THIS SATURDAY! Such a rollercoaster ride this past year but it is OBVIOUSLY worth it in the end and such an exhilarating feeling once you're done. Now, you do NOT have clinical 1st semester. They start 2nd semester. Your clinical can be held at CMC or St. Joes. There is an OB clinical which is held at Parkland medical center. In order to be allowed there, you must pass the drug screen. Last semester (for the LPN-RN) you go to St. Joe's or CMC again but you'll have PACU, ED, Cath lab and possibly one more. You won't necessarily go to all of them but those are the options they have for you (they pick for you)...Ummmm....idk...anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask! :) GOOD LUCK AND BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the late response. ...yes..they do interviews for transition students. Nerve wracking. And I only work weekends. 12 hour shifts but paid for 32 and considered FT. That was such a blessing to me as I started school because everything related to school occurs M-F! Otherwise, it'd be VERY hard. I'd either have to work to live and fail classes or pass but not be able to fully support myself. Some people can pull through working 32 to 40 hours per week but not me! Wasn't gonna risk it either.

Yes. Definitely. To be considered for a spot, you must have already completed A&P I&II within 5 years of your application...good luck!

I'm currently in the program. Got accepted in July. Yes, all classes are held at the Nashua campus. It's very helpful if you've already taken tedious classes like micro, English II, & Sociology. That way, you can focus more on nursing and pharmacology. You definitely need to have A&P I&II (like many programs) to be considered for a spot. Any more questions, just ask! :) Good luck.
