  1. Did anyone ever make a facebook group?
  2. I got a phone call but still haven't received a formal email! A little nerve wracking lol
  3. I got an email to interview for Thursday for CNM
  4. I don't think so? I turned my application in in January.
  5. I just got a call from Nurse Midwifery, I'm in!!!!
  6. I didn't! I was super shocked too and sort of in disbelief haha
  7. I had my interview remotely for nurse midwifery and got an email two days later saying I was in and I'd get an official response from the school in a few weeks.
  8. Nothing over here yet í ½í¸¬
  9. Wait where did you hear early March?? I thought the website said April!
  10. Awww! I hope we both get in ❤️
  11. Amimu, I actually had my interview over the computer. It was at 1:45pm that day. I hope not too!
  12. I interviewed on the 19th of January for CNM (I'll already have my BSN), and I am actually dying at this wait.
  13. I haven't received that email yet, I'm interviewing remotely and they told me they'd send me an article to read that they would ask me questions about but I haven't received it yet.
  14. Anyone heard anything?
  15. Waitlisted for direct entry midwifery
  16. hmm mine still says submitted, nothing yet
  17. I'm direct entry, not prespeciality. So I don't know if it only applies to the masters portion? But I specifically asked because I had a friend who went to Vanderbilt and had her midwifery portion in Alaska and California. He said that they have contacts all over the US and that they find you the site where you want to go.
  18. I specifically asked my interviewer if as a student we are required to find our own clinical placements and thats what he told me. So, we are not required to find them on our own.
  19. When I had my interview, my interviewer told me that any program that has you find your own clinical placements is not a good program and that Vanderbilt has clinical sites throughout the country that they hook you up with
  20. Nice to get that email just now! Crossing my fingers for us all!
  21. eanda27, I take it as soon as I can! So probably the last week of May/1st week of June! Seattle U is a little bit of a gamble for me because if I don't pass the NCLEX I can't go since they start in June. My program actually incorporates the Kaplan program throughout and this semester especially we do sooooo many practice questions each week and we are going to be doing a bunch of practice tests, so I think I'll be OK!
  22. I dont have any RN experience as I'll be graduating with my BSN in may. I have a 3.88 in my last semester of my ABSN, and I have about five years of experience working as a health educator/medical assistant before nursing school. I last worked at UCSF women's options center and before that I worked at Planned Parenthood. I also have about three experience as a volunteer health educator in a women's community clinic. And I'm trained as a doula. I hope we all get in!
