  1. Can you tell me anything about clinicals. I am enrolled in Excelsior & just about ready to schedule my clinicals? Thanks
  2. Can anyone tell me about Hickory? I had planned on moving to Greenville but was offered a job in Hickory making pretty good money. I really wanted to stay closer to the ocean but the money does sound good. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. Stay away from Florida. I have been here 14 years & can not wait for the sale of my home so I can go to NC. Florida is dirty, with bums panhandling on every major intersection, the price of houses has skyrocketed and they build them right on top of each other. Nevermind homeowners insurance, wind insurance, flood insurance & sinkhole insurance. You can't get a decent house for less then 275,000. Remember it is the right to work state which means they also have the right to let you go at any time. Its full of rude transients and the pay is way below average.
  4. Thanks for replying. I am sorry biut I am new to this site. What is a pm? Can you give me some advice on a nice place to live on the east coast. I want to be close to areas where there is a lot of work but also close to the water as I am a boater. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Dawn
  5. Are there many opportunities for LPN's on the east coast? If so, where? I am relocating from Florida with 10 years experience. Very close to sitting for my RN boards. I have been searching but do not see LPN's mentioned much.
