  1. Um..... How old are you? You are a college student right? Yet, you cannot make or reschedule your own appointments?
  2. Not to sound rude but, what does you being fit and working out everyday have to do with nursing school? That's probably going to stop once to start school and clinicals. Anyway, I would pass on the expensive school and go else where. The last thing you would want, is to be paying back a lot in student loans with your new nursing salary (assuming you are taking out loans). I'm sure you will be able to get accepted into a really good school with a cheaper price tag.
  3. I have used both cheap stethoscopes and Littmanns. I bought a Littmann Classic SE ll. I actually hear well with both the Littmann and sprauge. I bought a Littmann as a gift to myself for making it into nursing school.
  4. Um..... Do you have any experience for the job you are applying to? With only a cpr card you could be a volunteer or a patient transporter.
  5. Most of this is not correct at all. ALL Physician Assistants need a master's degree in order to practice All the NP programs I have looked at require so many years of RN experience before being accepted. Most PA programs PREFER hands on clinical experience such as EMT, CNA, ect, but, it is not always required. PA's have a great deal of choice when it comes to specialties also.
  6. This my first time posting here. I have been looking at these boards for a while, and I just finally decided to sign up. I have to say though, this is a dumb question. Are you really a nurse?
