Hey everyone!, The principal asked me to do epi-pen training for staff. I have no problem doing it but am I supposed to go through a special training to teach staff? I just want to cover my license and make sure I am not breaking rules
  2. Hi everyone, I feel very lost and confused. I've been a nurse since 2015 and only have school nursing experience for the most part. I tried pedi primary care but it was the same thing over and over it was becoming boring. I do have a kid so that is why I've been in school nursing but I feel like I should be doing more in my nursing career but I dont know what. I cannot do school nursing for the rest of my nursing career. I feel very limited because of my experience. Does anyone have any advice ?
  3. Hi everyone!, Ive been a school nurse for almost three years but I wanted to know if there was any school nurses who pursued their masters either in nursing education or FNP?
  4. how long did it take for you to find out? I just submitted my application for jan 2018. They are just waiting for my transcripts. Im very nervous.
  5. Congrats !Thank you for sharing this. I am using Kaplan so far I have done 450 in the qbank and my cumulative score so far is 52% which isn't good. Did you read the Kaplan content book for areas you were weak in ?
  6. Has anyone did dan clinton nclex prep in boston? If so, How was it?
  7. Thank you! I just want to be on the right track with everything and I feel like im not. I wanted to take my nclex first week of july when i graduated in May. Unfortunately, my school didnt send out the application for the nclex until two weeks ago and i slacked very hard up until I sent out my application. I did questions here and there but i wasnt focused when i sent out my application I told myself i really need to get down to business and study hard but I just felt all over the place.
  8. Hello All, First and Foremost, this website is very informative so i had to sign up. I have the saunders lippincott and lacharity book. I also have the 38 page study guide that i found on this website. I took Kaplan in May because it was included into the tuition at my school. I took the first three question trainers and my scores are not great at all. Instead of the scores increasing its decreasing! I stopped with the question trainers and started to do Qbank questions i only did the psycosocial portion which i didnt do too bad. The issue is i just feel like im all over the place. I have all these resources and still dont know what to do. Im not sure If i should start all over again and read the Kaplan content book first and then when im done do questions? Im reading all these success stories and I would like to be apart of that but how can I? when i feel like i dont know what im doing and its not helping me focus at all I feel more confused as the days go by. If someone can help me it would be great.
