  1. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post this information.
  2. I did not apply to the program, but as I was reading this thread I was wondering what are the 5 prereqs needed to apply? So you can only apply after completing the 5 courses and not directly from highschool?
  3. I think you will go to the school which ever you feel greatest for in your heart. You probably were leaning towards one school over the other, since you got acceptance to both. Choose the one, that you think you will enjoy your time and effort in. Another thing, is that you should probably also consider the distance of both schools. Its better to choose the less distance school, to save you some hassel in the future. In the end, whatever people say about each school doesnt matter as much, because it will be your final decision that counts.
  4. So ontario Rpn's are Lpn's in Vancouver? So can Rpn's from Ont, practice as Lpn's in Vancouver if they have passed the exam?
  5. Where is everyone doing anatomy & physiology online? At a college or university?
  6. Yes, its needed for most schools. Your marks is aside, they will be looking at how you do in this test. But then again, it depends on your school.
  7. Yes, your insight and comments are very helpful. Thanks so much again. For the next term I plan to take Healing 1 ( if I dont take it this term), pract lab, and pract lab clinical prep and/or math. Can you tell me more abut the pract lab and pract lab prep course? Do you think its efficient do healing and the labs in one term and maybe the math or would that be a heavier load? And another question, I wanted to ask was, is it possible to do module 2 courses if you haven't finished all of module 1 (like the lab and lab prep)? I know you posted that you are doing semester 2 and 3 courses. I thought we have to finish each module before going on to the next module.
  8. Just wondering have you moved or heard back from any jobs in bc? Did you ever find the answers to your questions?
  9. From the above posts it seems that the market in vancouver is scarce. But how about positions for Rpn's? I have some friends there and would love to work there.
  10. How is the market in bc, alberta or edmonton for rpns? I have traveled to these provinces before, so just want to know how its like and if its worth the trouble.
  11. Thanks for the two people above me, for posting back. For Np's do you also need to complete your masters? And this would be at a university of your choice/whichever you get into?
  12. What semester are you currently in? How are you finding the rpn program?
  13. So I think by now you are in the program at yorkgate. How do you like it so far? Any updates?
  14. I was planning on taking about three or four courses in September. But don't know for sure which combo of courses I should take. I thought maybe A&P, Healing and Nursing Role and maybe the clinical prep class/ or math. Do you think the course load(these courses taken together) would be to heavy? I do have a part time job that I might continue with or take less shifts.
  15. I thought from previous posts that you were planning to do the Rpn program at seneca? Did you apply there as well?
