Does anyone plan on taking a break from nursing before they start school? Or did you take a break before starting school? Just want to get some opinions on taking a hiatus from nursing before starting a rigorous program.

I was thinking that also. i'll have 2 years in CVICU in February. I could definitely use the extra money for school. So it's something to think about.

Update: off orientation. Asked my manager for a LOR for next year admissions cycle and she won't write one. Feels I haven't been there long enough, (have been there 18 months so far) stated she would be willing to write one near the end of the year. ...
