I would really recommend being as nice as humanly possible to her while remaining assertive. We all have our own issues that we deal with and there aren't any free passes in life, or there shouldn't be. It really isn't fair that some people take advantage of their issues while others live in fear of telling people they have psych issues because they don't want to be treated differently. Really, your coworker is part of that problem. People who are more sensitive require more sugar coating than others, mental issues aside. You want to come out looking squeaky clean on this so do your best to be professional.

If you can't find a school that has weekend clinicals, you may need to consider other options. There are only a few schools in my immediate area that I have to choose from and that one I'm planning on applying to has weekend clinicals, however the classes are called evening classes, but really they're late afternoon classes. I currently work an office 9-5 job and am hoping that my husband is able to find a job before I apply for nursing school so I can work only part time. Go and talk to your local community college. They might have something on the weekends. Explore every school in the area because someone should be offering nights and weekends.

I'm 25 and just started college this spring. It's really hard balancing going to school full time, working full time, and having a husband, family, and friends. On top of that I have pets that are more like my babies (5 sugar gliders), so it's been really tough learning how to be a student again after being out of school for so long. My advice would be to find what works for you and stick to it. I chip away at my school work through the week, but I still have to commit most of my Saturday to reading and tests as well. If you're dedicated, you'll find a way.

I'm in my second semester in college and have three more semesters to go until I've done all of my pre-requisites. When all is said and done, I will have completed 59 credits by the time I'm ready to apply for nursing school. Part of that is that I changed my mind on what I want to do last semester, and part of it is that I decided to take more courses than are needed in order to fluff up my gpa. I have heard of it taking a year to complete the pre-req's because a lot of them can't be completed concurrently.

I'm gonna second Quizlet. It has been a great lifesaver for me, and there are tons of different sets that people make. It's really great.
