4 traffic tickets in 1 day
Most certainly! Every single day I get in the car, it is a reminder of that very day I got the tickets, so I am maintaining proper speed and will continue to do so. I have learned my lesson. Quite horrible that I had to learn it this way.

Thank you for taking out your time and researching! I was trying to research what the Georgia Board of Nursing had to say after getting the tickets, but I guess I had overlooked. Thank you again!

All it says in the ticket is traffic violation.

I did not argue. I was scared out of my mind. I spoke softly and I had just spoke when he asked questions

I had read in a website that any traffic violation is considered a misdemeanor.

I got the 4 tickets at the same time.

4 traffic tickets in 1 day
I am a pre-nursing student in the state of Georgia. I work at a retirement home, assisting residents with dementia or Alzimers. I woke up late and was therefore late to my workplace. I was caught speeding about 25 mph over at a 45 mph zone. I also got tickets for failure to maintain lane, speeding in unstable conditions (the road was wet and it was dark), and failure to yeild. I have never been pulled over by a police officer for any reasons. I obviously regret the mistakes I have done. Not only was I danger to myself, but most importantly, a danger to pedestrians and fellow drivers. I know that I would have to report this to the State Board of Nursing. Do you think these tickets will affect me getting certified for nursing? I am not entirely sure if traffic violations in Georgia is considered to be a misdeamnor. Has this happened to you at any point in your nursing journey and what was you experience in dealing with a situation like this?

RETAKE MICRO?
I am a junior in college. I have taken all other prerequisites except ap 2 and life span development. I got all A's, but a B in math because I took precalc since I started out as a Biology major, and a C in micro lecture and an A in micro lab. I am currently signed up for AP 2 and micro. I have abought a 3.87 GPA with this C. I have not taken the TEAS yet. Should I just continue with ap2? I have contacted my advisor and she said that I should just continue because the program takes the highest math and science grades, but I want to also apply to othe nursing programs. Many nursing schools' minumum grade is a C. Anyone get into a nursing program having a similar situation as mine? What was your TEAS score if you don't mind? How did ya'll study for the TEAS?Thank you for the help! :)

Kennesaw State University Fall 2015
This may be too late of a comment (just found the post today), but I have gotten A's on all of my prerequisites, except Micro lecture, which I got a C on sadly, but an A in lab. I have yet to take anatomy 2, and life span development. I have yet to take my TEAS,also. I have about a 3.88 GPA. Do you all think I should retake Micro lecture? I have enough of math and sciences to count...

KSU Nursing School
I am trying to get into the KSU nursing program. I have heard accounts of students with high GPA and TEAS scores not getting in and you can imagine that this freaks me out. I have yet to take the TEAS, but will around October. I have a about a 3.8 GPA and these are the grades of the perquisites: I got a B in Math requirement since I took precalc, a C in Microbiology lecture, an A in Microbiology lab, but I got A's in everything else (Chem 1151/1152 w/labs, anatomy 1 w/lab,statistics,english 1101/1102,sociology,psychology 1101). I still need to take Anatomy 2 and life span development. In case ya'll need a refresher, the admissions take the best 5 math and science grades, cumulative GPA, and TEAS into consideration. There is no interview. I contacted my adviser and she tells me that I shouldn't retake micro, but do ya'll think I should? Will this affect my chances? I just want to take Anatomy 2 this fall.

Trying to Apply
Which seems better? I am a 3rd year KSU student and I am taking Micro this summer. I have sadly never taken the TEAS. 1) I am thinking of taking the 06/25 TEAS for the first time for Spring 2016 just to see how I do and in what areas I need to improve on. If I need to improve my score, to take the TEAS for Fall 2016 around January after studying of course. 2) After studying for a bit, take the TEAS for Fall Semester for 2016 on October and retake it if I need to improve on January after studying. Can any of ya'll share any experiences trying to get into the Nursing program at KSU or at other colleges? Thank you so much for the help! :) Ya'll are great!

STUDYING HABITS?
Hello everyone! I just wanted to know some studying habits that has worked for you, as a Pre-Nursing student or if you are a nursing student viewing this. What I do is that I try to make an outline as I am reading, but this is so cumbersome! Just 7-11 pages for micro may take me about 2 hours. If I get into nursing school, I understand that many of the textbooks are just huge and it would just take too long to outline notes. I am taking micro over the summer, as I had said. Any tips? First test is coming up on Wed and I have only read 2/4 chapters because of this note taking I do. Thanks to all who will help! :)
