Hello prospective and current nursing students! I am interested in this program... I read this program does not accept transfer nursing students. I am currently in an LVN program but hold a bachelors in science. I want to get my BSN. Does anybody know if this applies to me? Does this just mean if I get in none of my credits transfer over or does this mean I can't get in period? Thanks in advance! :)

I Know! Super excited! I am a bit nervous tho because they haven't registered me yet. I had to contact the director of the program to get approval to take the chemistry II class and I haven't received an email back from her.... Hope it gets straightened out tomorrow. Its a night class and I've taken all of my basic science classes so I hope they say its ok....

How many hours are you taking and which classes? I already taken Pharmacology and some other classes shown on the previous cohort's 1st semester and I know every program is different so I was wondering if they are going to make me take the classes over again for this program.

Yes I took them my blue card and they made a copy. What does your schedule look like?

Yikes! I am going to try renting them from Amazon if possible... if the books are needed more than one semester I'll have to re-rent and if I feel the need to keep the book they give you the option to purchase. I am going to look into that program your talking about but according to the other cohort there are limited seats and I feel as though I am too late . The email said said Monday they were going to begin registering students but I've been checking and nothing ...are you taking any other pre-req for your BSN in the future? I am registered for Chem II not so happy about that, most schools in Austin only require Chem I.

Hey Brenda! Awesome we're in! :) Is there another forum over this program specific to Fall 2015? Curious about the other students that got in... I read another forum from Spring 2015 applicants and it was very helpful information. Seems as tho each first semester is the same so I been following that.. Have you got your books yet? I have not, been waiting to be registered because I noticed the book list is for the whole program.

Hi I'm back... I haven't been on here for a bit but I got accepted to the Fall LVN program and now curious if anybody knows if they have an LVN to BSN bridge program. I could of sworn I read that somewhere but i cant find it now. Has anybody heard about this? Not including the LVN to RN program.

Hi Brenda! I applied and still waiting... They said beginning of July but in previous years it was more like mid July... I hope we know soon!!

Hi! I just read your post trying to find feedback about the nursing program as well. Looking at the date it's been a while, have you heard anything about the program? I just applied to the LVN program but plan to apply to the RN as well. How many do they accept in the program?
