  1. I can't believe next week is orientation already !!! I wonder why it's so long from 8-5?
  2. According to my schedule I'm taking 13 hours and my classes are Essentials of Medication Administration, Foundations of Nursing, Pharmacology, Basic Nursing Skills, and Clinical LVN training.
  3. Training for Job Success This is to another agency that can help you. A friend of mine is getting help through them and they have paid her full tuition, books, uniforms, and supplies.
  4. Sorry, I should of clarified that, I meant information session for the assistance program. Project QUEST, Inc. that is the link to the website. My schedule is Wed-Fri 8am-4, and my clinical starts in October.
  5. Well you can try. First you have to register to attend an information session. I got my schedule on monday morning. Did you take them your blue card? Because they need to make sure you are clear from the Board of Nursing to register you for classes. I have taken most of the pre-reqs for a BSN, chem, micro, nutrition, statistics. Maybe you should call them if your registered for classes yet.
  6. Hey Joanna, I have looked and looked for another forum but the Spring 2015 was the only one I found as well; and yes it was very informative. I have not got my books yet, I'm waiting for this program that is supposed to help me buy the books because it cost like $1,600!! YIKES! I did go online to the L&M book store (that is where I usually buy my books) and it seems like we are going to need more than one book per class, more like 4 or 5.. So I'm a little confused on that . Who can carry all those books! lol
  7. Hi Joanna, I got accepted as well. I believe they do not have a LVN to BSN bridge program. But to make certain you should call them.
  8. Did you apply to the LVN or RN program?
  9. Hi Joann!!! I actually don't know anyone else who has applied. Yes I hope we know soon also... Well good luck and I'll let you know when I hear something.
  10. Hello everyone, I recently applied to the Fall 2015 LVN program at St. Philip's College; and I was just wondering has anyone else on here applied to the same program? Brenda
