I actually applied last April and got in the following spring semster. So it was only 6 months before I heard about get in because they told us in October. Of course I had to defer of semester and will be starting this fall. It depends a lot on where you apply to as well. Some schools accept more cep students then just the regular AAS degree students. Hope that's helpful.

Hey! I have already signed up for class and purchased my books. The only things I have left for my health and safety requirements is my flu shot and my second round of my Tb skin test. I've been anxiously awaiting the start of class as well but I've just been reading my Nursing books and I bought a medical terminology book that I do a chapter a night of.

did you purchase the books already? if so how much did you spend?? I have'nt gotten mine because I dont want to get the new book list and realize that some have chenged although my friend is in her 2nd semester at gateway now and she sent me the book list form 2 semsters ago and everything is the same from last semster.

Hello, I was placed for the gateway evening program for fall 2016. I have done the background check just waiting on the results and I am going to start getting all of my vaccinations and my physical, but I haven't received anything else from gateway. How about the rest of you?

OH YAY CONGRATS! I deferred last semester as well! I can't wait to start. My time stamp was 4/20/15.

They are allowing us until April 14th to accept the placement so id assume it will happen somewhere in that time frame. Hope that is somewhat helpful

What was your time stamp? mine was 4/20/15 and i got placed last oct. for gateway evenings but i defered so i am hoping i get placed again this round.

I thought it was strange to because I know some people have already been placed for CEP for the fall 2016 semester but it could be that they are completing the final cycle of placements for CEP?

**UPDATE** For those of you who are like me and can't stop checking their emails this morning to see if you've been placed. I called the nursing hotline this morning and they told me that they are going to be working on placing CEPs today and the rest tomorrow. Hopefully the process goes faster and we(non-CEP) still get placed today. Good luck everyone!

My timestamp is 4/20/15 and I was placed on 10/2015 for the spring semester, but i deferred so i am hoping to get in this time! it all depends on what options you have, what are your options?

They sent out an email last week that the placements would take place the 31st of March or before. They are allowing everyone till march 24th to change their options so the placement will be between the 24th and 31st! Good luck!

I was not placed this round. Crossing my fingers to get placed 2nd or 3rd rounds. My first choice is gateway evening.

actually i take that back! I just called again and they have completed the first round of placements already for today. so if you didn't get an email you weren't placed this round.

Honestly I didn't ask why however i know that they are still in the process of placing people today since the website is still offline.

I just called the nursing hotline and they said that placement was suppose to be today, but they had to push it back until tomorrow (friday oct 2)
