  1. Greetings everyone, Hope the weather and summer heat are treating you all well. So I got so stressed out after having conversations, and heard some comments from my other nurse colleagues about online FNP program that: It is a challenge to find jobs after graduating from an online NP program such as Frontier Nursing FNP program (I heard alot of good things about this program though), or any other online ones. I thought that online program graduates should not have any difficulty finding jobs from clinic compare to major hospitals. Is it true? Any nurse recruiters, or anyone out there might have the answer for this. Please help! The reasons I choose to go for online program is because of my family situation, and work schedules. I am afraid that after 3 years of paying a fortune for tuition, and giving my best efforts and time, I will end up being jobless. Any comments, advice are welcome. Thank you for your time Happy July 4th
  2. Hello to all RNs and NPs out there, Im JD, current TX RN/BSN licensed and im interested in any online FNP program that fits my situation the best. It can be in Texas or any other compact states ( Im thinking of UTEP, Graceland, and Frontier University) or if you have any suggestions, I am thankful for that. Due to family issues, I might have to relocate to Kansas State in the next 6 months or so, but KS is a non compact state. So if anyone can help me out by answering or clarify a few questions: 1. What would be the process of obtaining RN license from KS since TX is a compact state? Does it mean I will have multi-license from 2 states? (I am planning to work in KS while doing online program) 2. I have heard that when I am done with all the FNP courses, i can register to take the NP exam at the state where i will be working at the time (Kansas), is it true that I can do that? 3. Does anyone know if I have to take any extra tests or board certifications in order to work in KS as FNP? I heard KS has strict regulations on these. Please help me out. i really Appreciate your time. JD
