I know the average TEAS score is a 335 for admitted students. I got invited for an interview for the summer and I had a 319 TEAS score and a 3.85 pre-req GPA. I'm not sure about the average though.

Hey there!! I fortunately haven't had to retake any of the pre-requisites but I know people that have and I'm pretty sure as far as GPA goes, your new grade just replaces the old one. I haven't been accepted to any other programs, but I applied to UNF for the summer and I am currently on their waitlist but I am expecting to have to reapply because the summer semester is starting in less than a month. I have thought about getting my bachelors in public health and then trying to get into accelerated programs if I don't get in come the Fall.

Jax is wonderful!! I was gonna apply to UCF but changed my mind mainly because I fell in love with UNF and Jax. Hopefully I don't get waitlisted the second time around! I have to retake the TEAS in another week and hope I get a better score :/

Hi guys!!! I applied for the summer but got waitlisted so if I don't get called off I will be retesting for the TEAS (the person in charge of admissions recommended that I do) and I'll be reapplying for the fall!

Thanks everyone for your encouragement! Everyone I have met so far that is either applying to the program or already in the program has been so sweet and helpful and that just draws me to this school even more :) I still am hoping for a call but if not I'll hopefully get admitted and join you guys in the fall!

I checked my phone today to find I had a missed call from a number with the Jacksonville area code and I freaked out only to find it was just a spam call... hopefully things work out..

Thanks Emy for the update!!! Hopefully I'm high up on the waitlist! That's only 13 people!! I know USF hasn't even had their interviews yet for the summer and the interview is after the deadline so I'm hoping some more people are just RSVPing just to secure a spot while they wait on USF. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed this works out

Zaizai: what group were you in and what track did you apply for? From what I have heard they usually call a good number of people from the list we just gotta hope that we are near the top!

Thanks! Yeah I had a 319 TEAS score so definitely not up to where a lot of you guys were. I definitely plan on retaking it but I'm gonna wait to do so until 2 weeks before the fall deadline because I don't wanna pay the 70 dollars to take the test again and then get called off the waitlist!

Waitlisted..at least I wasn't denied. Hopefully I'm not too far down on the waitlist although I have a feeling I am because my interview wasn't great :/

I liked it too. I know how you feel though about being younger. I am also just finishing my AA and I am only 19. I also wish the workshop was a little later, but I feel it helped calm me down a lot because now I have a better idea of what to expect. I honestly have been preparing by reading up about interviews and going over potential questions they might ask and thinking about how I would answer them. I don't want to sound to scripted but I feel I will do better if I have a template of potential answers in my mind (if that makes sense lol). I didn't hear any other stats from people but I know my TEAS is definitely on the lower end of the spectrum (319 i think) but the students were saying that once you get to the interview the focus goes mostly to that.

Thats an awesome TEAS score!! Congrats!! :) I am the same way with interviews. I have been trying to look up potential questions and go through them though to get more comfortable with what could be asked. Hopefully that combined with the workshop does me good! Does anyone know if we are supposed to dress a certain way for the workshop?

I have only been to the campus once before so I don't know it very well either! :/ I am with you though with the nerves! My pre-requisite GPA is above the average but my TEAS is below average (319)..I heard the interview though is what makes or breaks you so I am hoping that I can do well in the interview and make up for my TEAS score!!

Hey!! Welcome! :) I also live far from Jax (like 2 hours more or less) it just so happened that I was able to get off of work that Saturday and Sunday's are my usual days off! Hopefully you can make it though from what I heard the workshop is really helpful!
