Hello to all! Any ideas how much is ADN to MSN at Western University????? I recently graduated from WCU with ADN and planning to go to Western U for my ADN-MSN.

IT IS NOT LVN TO BSN, IT IS JUST BSN (don't have to be LVN). They might start LVN to BSN, but it is still in the air...

What about RN to BSN progrma? How much is it? Someone told me its $30-35k and around 18 months. Any help please :) ? Thank You.

She did say that school needs to promote their BSN program (its not picking up since starting a year or so ago) which is $116k...... They have only 5 spots left in the program for November 2009. It will be the last LVN-RN bridge program batch.

Hello everyboty! I'm an ADN student at WCU. They accepted my prereqs from other country (should be within 5 years), I had to take only English, Speech, & Biochem. My tuition droped to $55k. Still a lot, but no waiting list :). One of the instructors told me that WCU closes LVN to RN program at all 3 campuses in November.

Hello everyone! I took my NCLEX PN in Los Angeles on June 24th. My computer shut off after 85th question. Lot of select all that apply & pharmacology questions. Some meds I didn't even heard of. In CA we have to wait 3-4 week to get a result by mail. It's been a week now. I check California Vocational Nurses License Verification page every day. My name is not there..... My classmates who passed said that they were able to see their names in 5 days. I'm afraid i pass. I know that I have to sit quietly and wait. I'm very anxious.

I'm on my last 4 months of LVN/LPN program here in SoCal. It's a full time 26h/week program (14 months + 1 month NCLEX preparation). I work full time (40-45h/week) as the manager at Auto Body Shop. It's a stressful job. I'm doing just fine at the school. My grades are between 80-90%, plus English is my second language (I'm originally from Russia). I've been in the states for almost 7 years now. After LVN program jumping right into RN (already took my prereqs at the community college). Will try to go as far as CRNA. Time management is the key! I'm 24 y.o., live in Hollywood right on Sunsent Blvd :)! MUST find time to go out at list once a week :). Good luck!

ironica01 Thank you very much for the information. I cant stay in school for 2+ years and work parttime for $15/h. So after im done with my LVN school i can start working full time for good $ and study to be RN. A i know it take about 1 year (2-3 semesters) to complete LVN-RN programright? specially when i have all my prereqs done.

Hello everyone, My name is Dmiriy. I'm starting 14 months LVN program on September 25th. After graduation in November of 2007 and passing NCLEX i plan to star LVN-RN program as soon as possible. I attended Nursing School in Russia for almost 16 months full time and completed most(all) of my prerequisites (incl. Anatomy, Microbiology, Physiology, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Math, PE). Since i didn't graduate from nursing school in Russia i do not have a complete diploma however i do have an official Transcript from that Nursing School . Also from August 2000 - June 2003 i studied in the Moorpark College, CA as International Student. I had takken few Social Science classes, Humanities, Math and English. I also have official transcript from there. The question is will my international prerequisites be accepted here in California @ any LVN-RN program or i have to start everything from zero?
