  1. Thanks :) yea, I feel like it really helped me to know where I stand with the test plan. It's so important to study towards the NCLEX test plan, I think. I recommend PassPoint to everyone I know that still has to take the NCLEX!
  2. I just passed the NCLEX Monday and studied with PassPoint. My scores averaged around 7.5 :)
  3. I used Kaplan for test taking strategies, NCLEX mastery app for content, and PassPoint and UWorld for question practice :)
  4. Good luck! You can do it. You can beat the monster too :)
  5. Nope. I'm in Kentucky:)
  6. Content was a good thing to know but I felt like the content on the test broke down to really basic stuff. It's not like "what is CHF?" but more like "what in the body is effected by CHF?" stuff like that with content. It's really a deeper level of thinking and I feel like the only way to get there is to do questions over and over and learn how to break them down and figure out what they are asking in the question. I prepared for 3 weeks but the last week leading up to the exam I did nothing but questions and review every single rationale, right or wrong. The most important thing I feel like I did to prepare is learning the test plan. It felt like once I knew what they were testing, I need which direction to go with my studying.
  7. I liked PassPoint better but UWorld was really good too. PassPoint, to me, seemed closer to NCLEX questions.
  8. Woohoo! Congrats to you! It's a great feeling, isn't it :)
  9. Well it's official, I took my test on Monday 5/18. Got 207 questions. About an hour later I tried the PVT and got the good pop up. Tried again at the 24 hour mark and still got the good pop up. Maybe 30 minutes after I tried again my license was posted on the KBN. It's an amazing feeling. I can't describe it. I took a year off after graduating to focus on finishing my family. I feel like it helped me tremendously to take that time off. I focused and absorbed so much more information after clearing my mind from the fog that was nursing school. I'm so happy to say I can go annoy graduate from the nursing student board on allnurses :) officially signing my name for the first time Nicole Kraemer RN:) good luck to all that are still in the testing process. Be strong. You can do this. You graduated nursing school, you CAN and WILL pass the NCLEX:)
  10. I took my NCLEX this morning and PassPoint was my main focus of studying. I was at a 7.5 before I took the test. I found the questions on PassPoint very comparable to the NCLEX. I got 207 questions. Got the good pop up. :)
  11. I've been using UWorld as one of my study aides. I really like the questions on it but feel they have taken a lot from PassPoint. I take my NCLEX this morning so I'll let you know how helpful it was for the exam haha
