I got a call and was accepted into PCC off the alternate list. Anyone else get a call today?

I got B's in all my anatomy classes last year. So I retook the whole series this year. If I don't get in I'll already have retaken all my courses for a higher grade. I already have work experience and all pre-reqs. At this point, I'm just trying to figure out what I'll do if I am not offered a spot off the alternate list. Im currently working as a caregiver, but only 12-24 hrs a week. (1-2 twelve hr shifts). Im considering enrolling at PSU so I can knock out my upper divisions, but really thats all I have left to do, 16 credits of 300 level + classes. I have stats and micro knocked out. I may just take the year to work part time and enjoy some time with my kids, but worried about taking time away from school. Don't know what to do.

Hey PCC wait listers! Just got an email from nursing dept. I had inquired about my standing in wait list pool. They said they couldn't tell me where I stood, BUT they haven't started calling alternates yet. Trying to stay positive.

I had both work experience as a CNA and as a volunteer in the NICU at OHSU. I mentioned that in both my essays. It's too bad Chemeketa doesn't award points for work experience.

I'm an Alternate at Chemeketa, not Clackamas. :)

I'm trying to stay positive! I'm an alternate at both programs, so as long as I get into ONE! I'm not sure how likely my chances are at CCC as I am #19 on the list, and I emailed PCC to inquire as to my standing and have yet to have heard a reply. Just don't know what I'll do with myself for a whole year!

Does anyone know when PCC will notify alternates? Im an alternate and am going crazy with anxiety about getting in.

Hi all. Congrats to everyone accepted into a program. I am alternate # 19 on Chemeketa's list. My stats 357.5/360. A's in 231 & 232. B's in 233 & 234. 50/50 on essay. Out of distinct. On PCC's wait list as well. Still hopeful.
