  1. Five years late to the party here, but let me tell you, this really opened up my eyes to what the heck I should prioritize in my study time. Thank you and THANK YOU! I honestly would have never thought of this, not to sound too naive, but this would definitely be the no brainer. Looking to conquer this monster not too long. I truly endorse this advice and will do my best to pass it on to fellow CPNE mates. Cheers!
  2. It looks like you can get some materials for no cost. What did you sign up for? Did you do the monthly plan?
  3. Thanks for the feedback Nalon, I have heard nothing but good about RobsCPNE. I think I will go with it.
  4. Hi all, just stopping in to get some recommendations/input on the best study tools any of you veterans used to prepare for the CPNE. What books,CD's...etc. Thanks for any feedback! :)
  5. Yeah, no kidding. Working on that ASAP!!
  6. That's insane! Guess I better not get in too big a hurry. Christ!
  7. About how long after you sent in your application to receive that date?
  8. So in general as far as prioritizing nursing interventions, would you say monitoring patients for a specific complication or educating the patients family about preventative measures to take that would avoid worsening the patients condition would take priority? Basically it's either monitoring or education. I personally would be inclined to think monitoring would be the best nursing intervention, but I could be wrong. What's your take?
  9. Mesiam, could you please give me your email. I want to ask you a few questions if you don't mind. Just needing a mentor is all. Thanks, would be greatly appreciated. Godbless.
  10. Yeah I found the questions. The exam opens Monday at 12:00 am. I feel ya though, little nervous, but keeping calm and focused.
  11. Hi all! Fixing to partake in the FCCA finals next week. Someone had mentioned taking some practice test to prepare for them with studygroup101. Does anyone know anything about this? I have been looking through my Fundamentals book as well as doing fundamentals NCLEX questions. Any little thing helps. Thanks nursing fam!
  12. Yes I am. Knock em out at once.
  13. Brookshire92 posted a topic in Excelsior College
Is anybody starting the FCCA for Excelsior May 4th?
  14. Same here.
  15. I hear ya, always safe than sorry for sure.
  16. Ha! Well luckily I only paid like $13 dollars for the PDF for it. Thanks for the tip. Definitely feeling better about it then. Didn't know that about May 6th, just going by the advertisement. Guess I will just focus on memorizing mnemonics and critical elements/care plans for the CPNE instead and leave the FCCA to google toolbar hahaha. Like come on, they ought to know nursing students are world renown experts with the Google search function hehehe
  17. Thanks for the replys guys. The latest registration is May 1st, course starts the 4th. If you register late, you will be signed up for the go around after this 8 week session, so do it ASAP. Have a fundamentals book and also purchased the studygroup101 for the FCCA/CPNE. Should be gtg then.
  18. Hi there, I am not asking for specific info on what these two classes contain, I am only asking former students if the online modules that is included in the 8 week coorifice is enough to pass the final or do I need an external source to prepare? Each class module has three quizzes after what I am assuming is over those modules. I will be beginning these two FCCA classes May 4th and just what a pointer. No actually content info, not trying to breach any policies. Thanks!
