Anyone heard from financial aid yet?

If anyone is planning on attending to Georgetown and from out of town, what are you doing for lodging?

Based on experience with the ABSN/MSN program wait list, you might not hear anything until school has actually started.

Opus just updated. 2800 applicants, try again next year. 2017 Application available July 1st.

anyone on here know if Emory is still accepting applications for the Fall ABSN? Website says yes, but I doubt it is accurate.

Anyone have any information on their waitlist, as in, how many people are on it, what is the liklihood of being accepted off of it and timeframe?

Kcullen1313 -- I concur 100%! The pettyness was revealing, particularly because frustration is a valid emotion to express when your future is in limbo and information is not forthcoming. We learned a lot from it.

Thank you for the response. It is refreshing that Emory addressed the comments in a positive way. Someone I know was waitlisted at another Georgia School last year and posted that he was frustrated with the lack of communication. He applied again this year and not only did the admissions committee tell him to remove the posts, they then rejected him outright. Pretty sure it was because of his post saying he was frustrated. Just a friendly reminder, administrations do read these posts and you never know how they will react.

To my knowledge, last year, no one was accepted off the alternate list.

With 2300 applicants for 300 spots, I am looking elsewhere.

Sav768. Did you apply to both programs, the ABSN - MSN and the ABSN only? I just called and was told that you can only apply to one program or the other, but, that you could switch your application from one to the other. Any clarification is appreciated.

Still nothing. When did the wait list start? May 1?

Extending the deadline for a week. I am thinking this is for the Athens wait list. Argh!!!!
