PRN work
I know there are companies that do offer, WFH/remote Nursing opportunities. I also get notifications from indeed for remote jobs. When I clicked on this page, this was at the bottom. So I took a screenshot so I could attach it to this response. I'm not sure if they fit exactly what you're looking for, other than work from home. they are out there. Keep looking and honestly believe in the power of prayer. Best wishes

LPN transitioning to PRN agencies
LPN transitioning back from Home Health to LTC's through PRN agencies. Which is easier to make the transition? Working 8 or 12 hour shifts? It's the EMR's that's challenging as the LTC's use different platforms/programs for PMR (patient medical records). That's the only thing that I find challenging. Any input would greatly be appreciated.

PRN work
There are several PRN agencies, ShiftKey, Coastal Care, Gale. Just Google PRN Nursing Agencies. I love working here PRN! Pay I find is much better than full-time, part-time shift work. Basically you can be your own boss. Good luck!

Help! RN PAX...How am I going to pass it?
Thank use so much for your encouragement. It's greatly appreciated and needed. I'm currently an LPN and I have everything ready to go to attend Galen College of Nursing here in the Tampa/Saint Pete Florida area. Except that I have to pass the PAX exam. How very daunting and I enjoy challenges, truly I do. Still it's like taking your ACT or SAT 30 years after you graduated from high school. I have been studying math extensively. Still though I'm struggling with algebra. Although I love science it's difficult to discern what aspects I should focus on? Hoping to hear of other student nurses who have been out of high school for long length of time such as myself. Would be a really encouraging to hear of someone such as myself. Their challenges and they're triumphs would be so very helpful. Again thank you so very much. your reply has giving me encouragement. Bless you

Help! RN PAX...How am I going to pass it?
I Love learning, but how am I going to pass the PAX? I'm an LPN that graduated from high school 30 years ago. I don't remember very much from High School especially regarding math. Getting my degree as an RN has always been my Goal. I'm starting to get discouraged that I'm not going to be able to return to school. I planning on going to Galen Tampa/St. Pete. I have been studying on Khan Academy.org as well as the NLN RN PAX Study book/guide. I have an a lot of trouble with Math especially algebra. Also with physics/science because I'm not sure where to focus? It's difficult know where to focus? Your insight would be immensely appreciated… Feeling very discouraged. Thanks Tons!

Has anyone taken the PAX RN in March/April 2016?? Help please!
Thank you for your post. Is the calculator they let you use a basic calculator or an advanced one? If its advanced one where you can plug in negative/positive numbers then it would help in narrowing down a bit what I need to focus on. I would think its a basic calculator they provide. Right? Would be really helpful to know. Thank you
