IPN-ADHD testing
I'm in the process of signing an IPN contract for marihuana use.. im not in trouble for the adderall but to continue it under contract really makes things expensive and takes FOREVER to get approved!

IPN-ADHD testing
No.. And I've taken adderall for 14 yrs and it's well documented and managed. They are making me try Strattera for a few months and if it doesn't work I have to do the objective testing before being cleared to work. It's not working and the Strattera is $700 a month!!

IPN-ADHD testing
Has anyone done the objective ADHD testing required by the IPN to continue adderall or any other ADHD medication? Was it expensive? What was the outcome? Did you have to go twice, where? Did it slow the process of being cleared to return to work?

Inpatient eval or 3 months IOP?
By trap i guess I just mean the expensive hoop after hoop to jump through.. It just feels never ending! I just want to go back to work as soon as possible! I used someone else's urine on a random ua bc I had smoked pot a couple weeks before the test. Seems like my ipn evaluator isn't concerned about that at all though- even my 3 month hair test was negative cause it was such a little amount. The one month alcohol test had high levels and that's why they want me to do the IOP or the week inpatient eval. Before my eval I had a few last girls nights out before the 5 years of no drinking- bad decision! just looking for all the advice I can get to get me back on track! Thanks for the info, earthmama! That's exactly what I was worried about if I chose the inpatient eval!

Inpatient eval or 3 months IOP?
I just talked to my case manager regarding my IPN facilitated eval. My options are: 1) 1 week inpatient EVAL 2) 3 months IOP (treatment) has anyone had this choice? What did you choose/what was the outcome? i am not addicted- just caught in the IPN trap. I want to do the 1 week eval because it could get me back to work sooner, but I'm concerned they'll just say I have to do the IOP after the inpatient eval (both are several thousand dollars). Has anyone done an inpatient eval and then been cleared to work? What was the week eval like? What is IOP like?

Entering IPN questions- thc, alcohol, adderall
I am entering IPN for occasional marajuana use (psychiatrist eval is in 5 days). I want to be as prepared as possible and have some kind of idea of what I'm in for. I've spent days and days googling about it, as I'm sure you all did too! Reading about people's IPN stories is horrifying! How has it been for yall? I can jump through hoops and behave... But it sounds like that's not enough. Once the process gets started, does it get better? Is the program as bad as you thought it would be when u started (as bad as the Internet horror stories)? Any advice for someone starting IPN. I have taken adderall for >10 years, prescribed by a psychiatrist. Will I be able to continue this medication? Does this mean I have a substance abuse/ mental health issue and should expect a 5 yr contract? Should I expect no alcohol in my contracts? Do the etg tests really give fake positives a lot? I feel like I've through my whole life away! I just want to be as prepared as possible! Thanks everyone!

Is the program as bad as you thought it would be when u started (as bad as the Internet horror stories)? Any advice for someone starting IPN (eval on Friday). Nurse experiences with lawyers, IPN, BON
Has anyone refused IPN and hired an attorney to fight the board of nursing. If so, what was your situation and outcome? I was fired and reported to IPN for using a coworkers urine during a random drug test. Before being terminated, I was drug tested again- those results were negative. I spoke with my IPN case manger and stated that I used someone else's urine because I had smoked marijuana 2 weeks prior. I have not signed any contracts or seen the IPN psychiatrist for my eval yet. I've read a lot about how hard IPN can be and am considering declining the program and going to the BON with an attorney. My fear is they will revoke my license or send me back to IPN. I would love to hear from someone that has been through anything similar. Has anyone been in a similar situation and what was your outcome?
