  1. Hey Cheryl. U still have 3 weeks, so u should be awright. But what I like about this site is that, I don have to find extra time to open hours in lab and beg the technician to let me in for longer time to look at the slides, cause I found this site now . :) People share your own ways of how succesfully u're studying, how learning the bones... besides just reading that big book
  2. I was searching for images of slides and bones for my Lab Praktical and found this site. It's really good, slides are very similar to the ones in my Lab. Check it out A&P students. http://www.tarleton.edu/~anatomy/fall.html
  3. Hey PPL ! two years ago I was also a new immigrant. Now I feel more like at home. I am still an international student. The big advice I can give, don ever be shy or afraid. Just keep asking questions. Try to work on your English, this will increase confidence (but don judge mine :)). Be carefull with bank cards, as they have overdraft fees and etc. In college or university don't always listen to your advisor as they try to give you unecessary classes. Try to get the classes required for your major and the ones which worth credit not equated or sth like that. hmmmmm, what else, just ask lots of questions in every single question u have. Good luck to ya all!!!!
  4. hey ! good job with the test. i have three practical exams from lab and 4 quizes also from lab. our prf. focused on labs a lot.
  5. I see. sorry to hear that, we could study in groups :) . we are going to have the lab quiz identifying right tissue thing, identifying the bones and skin next wednesday. so I have attached lots of pictures with skeleton's parts on it all over my home. BTW, PPl that helps !!!!! whereever you look, you will see those parts. Yeah, you're right it's lots of reading. I took Bio classes as Genetics, general microbio, but none were so much to read. uhhh, hope to get my that A good lcuk everyone
  6. hey Micci ! your assignment seems just like ours. Aren't you in cuny school, in NY? ot maybe because all the A&Ps are the same :) anyways, good luck!
  7. thanx Woogy! yeah I got the book MacDonald, but that's not enough for exam, or seems to me so. Especially the verbal, seems hard and not many practicals. Millions of words to memorize. May be I am making an elephant of it. Which specific book do u suggest from SAT words? thank you
  8. Hey Fun2Care! thanx for answer, but kind of having trouble finding that thread. Don't you remember in which part was that? can't you please giude me how to find that. I typed NLN, but they had nothing to do with the preparation to the actual exam. Thanx in advance.
  9. Hey guys ! I study at Kingsborough, CUNY, NY and would like to get into nursing program for Sp, 2006 .Has anybody taken the pre -nursing exam? It's NLN Pre-Admission examination. What kind of advice can you give me to get high score? what kind of books do you suggest? generally what do you suggest. Thank you.
  10. Oh, I see. so, for now I don't have to do anything but just study and finish my nursing school right? Thank you all the time.
