  1. You are all so great at answering questions I thought I'd throw this one out: Got my book bundle and have registered the Elsevier stuff, but have two things I'm not sure about... 1. Adaptive Quizzing for Med-Surg, Pharm & Fundamentals of Nursing all say they need a course code -- do we get that from the school? 2. The Med-Surg book has a code on the first inside page but it seems like I've already got the resources from the main Elsevier Access Card code. Anyone find a place to put that code in? **This is for Gateway
  2. THANK YOU! I finally talked to Deon this afternoon and she gave me the info. But I have one question -- what is the "Extensive Review Pass Page"? Is that the Student Health and Safety Documentation Checklist?? That's the only thing I can think of. Edited: Never mind -- that must be the PASSED background check pdf??
  3. Rachael -- I just left mesages for --------, ----------- & ---------------------- (all numbers off the GWCC site) and then I emailed them. Squeaky wheel??? Hopefully I'll hear back today. I'm going to call Certified Profile... actually just called them and the helpful person there gave me a code I need to add the medical upload portion to the site. So if anyone else is having trouble, you can call them and maybe get the code from them. WHEW.
  4. I didn't get an email response or phone response today about uploading. Will try again tomorrow. Our GWCC instructions specifically stated everything had to be uploaded before orientation. So maybe each school is different?
  5. Whew! So glad you are all discussing this here because I finally finished all my titer/vaccines (btw, I assume flu shot was required?) so was getting ready to upload and I've got nothing in my email (granted I'm not certain I added them to contacts and I deleted my spam recently). Did you just upload them all to the Documents section on Certified Profile? I will email the college but since they aren't responding until at least Monday, I figured I'd check with you all! And I'm super confused about the 4 book/6 or 8 ebook thing. Did you get that figured out AzNURSINGgirl? I am going to order on Monday -- so will see what I get. I ordered the Manual of IV Thera, Davis' Drug guide and Nursing diagnosis handbook from Amazon -- so I'm hoping that is all I need with the big bundle. My morning GWCC orientation isn't until Wed the 13th -- so will be curious how yours goes this week. Can't believe it's almost here!
  6. I'm starting GWC in January. Just wanted to mention that the three additional books we need (not in the bundle) are all $20 cheaper than the bookstore if you buy from Amazon. And Amazon is having a 25% off some books thing right now using the code 25OFFBOOK. I think it goes through tomorrow - Dec 16.
  7. The paperwork said it could include Sat/Sun.
  8. Oops meant to ask whether there are two clincal days to replace the TWO lab days...
  9. Oh and our email for Gateway said clinicals will not be assigned until several weeks into the semester and that we will not be able to choose either.
  10. Yep! Lots of wonderful info from Gateway! I'm happily overwhelmed. Block 1 schedule (for those interested): Mondays 12:30-4, Tuesdays 12:30-4:30 Labs Wed/Thurs 8-4 until clinicals start. For those already in block 1, are there two clinical days to replace the one lab day or just one? And is it a 12 hour clincal shift? (Just starting to plan for kid pick-up stuff...)
  11. For Gateway people - is orientation really just the week before we start? Seems like other schools have either already had their orientations or they are happening in December. Makes me nervous that we won't have info in time to accomplish what we need to for starting...
  12. Thanks -- all info helps!
  13. Yep! The fun I've been looking forward to!
