  1. Hello! I'm also about to start a research project and its my first time as research coordinator. This project is being passed on to me from a previous researcher. Any tips on getting started such as in organization, documentation? Any practical resources that you could recommend? Thanks!
  2. I have a question for CNSs in non-traditional CNS roles (e.g. APRN/mid-level provider). How was your first working experience in this role? Did you also explain to your employer what other roles CNSs can do? (e.g. education, research).
  3. At one point, I thought of taking the AACN certification but my professors recommended to take the ANCC first. I tried taking the AACN Adult CNS exam reviewer and it was very specific compared to ANCC. Previously thought of taking this exam but now I'm planning to take a post-FNP certificate or DNP course (whichever will allow part-time students). Wished I took the NP path first before the CNS.
  4. I took the AGCNS ANCC exam a few weeks ago and passed! It was a "miracle" for me because I didn't know what to expect and there were a few resources. Actually, one (and only resource I could say) that I found helpful was the mometrix reviewer. There was a study group in FB that I also found helpful.
