Shoes???
I love the Danskos I have. The shoe rocks with your foot so you are not "pushing off" a hard floor with the ball of your foot.

How 2 study Med-Surg
I know this may sound strange but, for the systems I really didn't understand, I wrote things out on posterboard and posted them around the house so I would always have to look at them and study them. Works great for labs, the hypers and hypos (kalemia, natremia, etc) and acid-base. It worked for me.

Post NCLEX feelings
Thanks for the positive thoughts. But, I didn't think it was easy...but then again I think I have PTSD because I can't remember a lot of the questions

Post NCLEX feelings
Is it normal to walk out of that test and cry? I also can't remember anything I tested on specifically. It's totally wierd!! I studied over 5,000 questions on every available testing service. I went in there confident and walked out in tears. I would know the answer to a question only to find that it was not one of the choices!!! Well, I took 75 questions. I hope I don't make history by being the first known person to fail with 75 questions. Will know on Thursday!!

% on Saunders?
I was getting the same thing on Saunders too. I was stressed but when I woke up this morning I realized that I was having too much negative stress. I slept late this morning, exercised and then got my first 80 on Saunders...and it was OB...my weak spot. Try to do some relaxation stuff...it helped me today!!! Good luck on the 16th!!!

NCLEX anxiety
I do about 200 in separate sessions throughout the day. This includes the interruptions by my husband, son, and researching things I had forgotten. It just seems that some of the questions are worded so strangely that I feel I wouldn't get the correct answer even if I did "know everything"

NCLEX anxiety
I am using Saunders, Lippincott, NSNA and Mosby's. I am doing questions, reviewing the rationale for right and wrong and reading on subjects that I find I have either forgotten or don't know too much about.

Nervous about NCLEX EXAM
I take it on the 13th. My sister (ICU RN) has advised me not to study the day before. I'll definitely pray for you and hopefully you can return the favor!! Good luck and let me know how you feel after the test

NCLEX anxiety
Well I am sure that I am familiar with panic type anxiety now. I took the HESI to graduate with a score of 1019. I managed B's throughout nursing school. However, as I take test after test after test, I consistently score between 65-75 percent. I have even taken the Kaplan test prep course. Is there hope or should I pursue alternative career choices??? I test on the 13th and therefore have only one week to learn EVERYTHING.
