  1. I got into the FNP program! Very excited :) is everyone planning to accept the offer? or still deciding?
  2. Hello! I also applied for the FNP specialty. Already anxiously awaiting to hear! Does anyone know generally how competitive it is to get into the program? I wasn't able to find any info online about acceptance rates etc.
  3. Mostly I just asked questions about when they were pulling from the wait list and what that process was like. I also made sure to find an email address of a specific admission officer (as opposed to just a generic email address for admissions) and put in writing that Emory was my first choice and if I was given a spot I undoubtedly would accept the offer. Not too long after I wrote that email I found out I got in, and I know of a few people in my cohort who got in even later from the wait list, but I'm not sure if/how they chose to contact the school. If you're close enough I'd also recommend an in-person visit to the school- it helped one of my friends get in! I know it's really nerve wracking but let me know about any questions and I wish you all best of luck!
  4. Hi everyone! Just wanted to say that last year I got accepted into Emory nursing off of their waiting list and they do accept people up until the last minute! I called pretty much every day until I got in- not sure if that helped or not but I definitely was persistent with calls and emails to the admission office. Keep trying and let them know if it's your first choice!
  5. Hi everyone! I applied for the ABSN program and was waitlisted a few months ago. does anyone know when we might expect to hear back about being waitlisted or if they are reviewing wait list candidates yet?
  6. @beccs and @klg625, did you guys interview in Athens or Augusta?
  7. @Steve88,CNA. I am in the same boat with having to make living arrangements (I am in Atlanta) and taking micro! But I thought GRU didn't require a lab for micro? My status also changed yesterday to decision made but no updates in the other sections... Here's to hoping we get emails today!
  8. I interviewed on March 13 as well, I am hoping they will get to mine later in the day!
  9. @klg625 and Beccs, when did yall interview??
  10. Ok I am glad to hear I'm not the only one still waiting! Good luck to all of you, I am hoping and praying we all get in!! :)
  11. Has anyone heard anything yet about status changes or getting accepted? I'm pretty much going crazy with this waiting game!
  12. I also had my interview on March 13 and haven't heard anything. I asked the admissions counselor on March 30 when we can expect to hear back and she said the Admissions Committee is making all of their decisions by this Friday, so I am hoping we will at least get an email that day!
  13. Hey yall! I just interviewed today for the Athens campus... When I walked out I realized I totally forgot to ask how long the admissions committee takes to make a decision. For those of yall that are in, how long after your interview did it take to hear if you got in?? The anticipation is already killing me!
