With our acceptances being contingent on review from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, is the worst part over? Or is it just as hard to get in the school? Anyone knows how that works? (Also looking for a roommate )

Hi varistyx22! I'm also still on the waitlist and was actually recently wondering if their were any people that possibly gave up their spot too! Lol. You're not in the wait alone! In the meantime, I am applying for the 2016 BSN cohort.

Cairber: They do put a huge emphasis on volunteering, but I think all that matters is you have volunteer experience that you have committed to long term. You sound like a great, competitive applicant to me. Stategirl: I know! I just can't wait to hear back! I'm so ready

Omg me too! I'm just going to keep calm and wait. On a positive note, the Admissions Committee loves to see re-applicants

I was reading over the frequently asked questions and read this "We typically receive 200-300 applications for the 4-term ABSN option eachyear and admit 64 students to that option each spring". This isn't new information, but is still unnerving to me! I feel okay and then I read stuff like this ugh

Yea I imagine! I didn't even apply to Duke and Duke and UNC are pretty much my only options. So only applied to UNC this time. Did you apply anywhere else?

Yea I remember you from the last thread, stategrl! I thought you got into the Duke ABSN, or am I confusing you with someone else?

Hey there everyone!! I am a re-applicant. I applied for the 2 year program, this past May 2015 cohort, was wait-listed and then denied . Obviously, the deadline for the ABSN 2016 is today and so I thought I'd start the convo as we anticipate the wait! Here's to us! Our part is done and the rest is up to the admissions committee! We got this! :)

I was waistlisted So some more info: I asked more questions about the wait list and they said there is no ranking, but they do put us in categories. For example, I'm a second degree student. So if a second degree student is accepted, but denies their acceptance then second degree students who were waitlisted will then be reevaluated for admission.

Called the office. They are unsure why I did not get my letter yet...SO THEY ARE SENDING IT VIA EMAIL TODAY!!! I'm so nervous
