Need advice when to self refer to CA Intervention program
Hi all, Without going thru all the nitty gritty I am going to be self referring to the CA program for diversion. My employer has already reported me to the BRN 2 days ago, but they are wonderful and are allowing me to keep my job and will fully support me thru this process. my question is when do I self report? My dilemma is that I absolutely HAVE to have two surgeries that I have been putting off. The pain from the injuries is what sent me spiraling down and lead to the diversion. If I don’t get these fixed I won’t have a single chance recovery. I have a supportive family and spouse, thank goodness, but I’m not sure how to proceed. Should I just self report and tell them I’m having these surgeries and hope to have good MD coordination? The first surgery is only 7 days away, so should I get the surgery and then self report after that? any advice is appreciated! PS. I’m currently in the ashamed/scared/horrified state of mind, so any supportive advice in any general area of this mess is also appreciated. thank you and much love to all.

Please update when you can! I did exactly the same thing today. It shutoff at 75 questions, I went outside, got on my iPad, did the trick, got the good pop up. I'm figuring it is correct because prior to the test my pearson account had my test listed on there, then after my test it wasn't there at all. I'm a CA grad as well, did uworld, and got 21 SATA questions of death! I've also had most of my classmates who've taken it so far say that the result will be on breeze with a few days.

Anyone testing in June?
I'm testing June 19th here in CA. I graduated April 27th, but now I'm thinking I should have moved the test date closer so I don't forget what I learned or maybe I should push it out to give more time to study.....ugh....nervous either way!!!

CA nclex how long know the result?
Have you heard anything yet? I'm in CA to, though I don't test till the 19th. I'm wondering if I should move my date up just in case it takes them forever to grade. I've read to many horror stories on here of it taking 4-5weeks for some and 48-72 hours for others.....

Modesto Junior College '15/'16 ADN applications MJC nursing program
I have a 68 as well. I know everyone is expecting the scale to be higher this year, I just hope not over 68! People from the 62 point slot got asked for documents. And with over 500 applications it's hard to be confident. This process is so nerve racking, my entire life is on hold until I find out.

When did you guys submit? I think they'll go in order of receipt, so once whoever submitted the latest is approved then we'll know when we might get our notifications.

cbolter, 62 points was the lowest I heard, both on the FB group and off. I have 68 points, and I'm stressing hardcore if I have enough to get in. Did you apply to modesto or Columbia? Did your documents get approved yet?

They ink to it on MJC.edu, but you can just check your status also. They wouldn't send an email without the status changing

Have you checked your student email or application status online? All the modesto campus applicants got their emails already.

I've heard a few different versions, but we should find out this week and have roughly two weeks to turn them in. So I'm guessing middle of June? Third week of June?

If anybody is NOT nervous right now, I'd think they'd be self medicating! I have neurotically checked my app all day! I'm so ready for tomorrow to be over! I just hope we find out fairly soon. I heard last year they heard by June 3rd if they were being asked for documentation. Are you on the Facebook group for 15'/16' applicants?

With 81 points you ARE going to get in! That's for sure. Those of us in the mid to high 60s are the ones to worry. It's taken me so long just to be able to apply, I'm just happy to be done with pre-requisites! Thanks for all the info! I sure hope we don't have to wait until the end of July to find out if we get in or not. How nerve racking!

Yikes! Y'all have some high points! I'm hoping to bring up my score with the TEAS test as well, but looks like I've got some stiff competition! That's awesome! Does anyone know friends points levels as well? I've asked around and can't find anybody applying this year! They're all going next year.

68 points is great!!! But the hard part about this year is we have no idea where the points will fall. They could be higher or lower. Some say all the high points people got in last year because they'd been waiting in the lottery. Others say people have had all this time to improve their points, so it's going to be much higher this year. But I think a lot of people don't want to discuss their true scores as if it will impact their chances of getting in or something. It's really hard to say, so if I were you I'd go for a better TEAS if you can. You get to use the highest of 3 scores, so go for it. That's what I'm doing, my first score was 76 (which is passing), but I'm taking it 2 more times to try to get the best score possible. I see this process this way: if we can fight to make it through this process and get into school, we're gonna be great nurses who will fight for the right thing for our patients.

San Joaquin Delta College (SJDC) ADN Fall 2015
I'm applying to Modesto Junior College this May, I missed the application deadline for Delta, I stupidly assumed it would be around the same time as the other colleges. MJC is merit based as well, and think I have a good chance with 69 points. Last year the cutoff was 65 points, but by the time fall rolled around and they had people drop for various reasons, they took people from as low as the 62 point range. But who knows what the range will be this year. I'm guessing it will be higher, but by how much is hard to know. I'd love to know which of you folks get in and what point range your at?

I've heard the Columbia program gets far less applicants! But your points aren't super low, only a few from the cutoff of last year. The main cutoff was 65, but after quite a few people got cut for various reasons they took people from the 62 point range. Plus, being up in the foothills it's a shorter drive to Merced or Delta for people like me. I guess we'll see what this years point range is fairly soon. Good luck to you!!!!

Hi all! I've seen a few threads about TEAS V scores and points totals regarding getting into the Modesto Junior College nursing program. I'd love to get an idea where everyone else is at, what my chances might be, what's working for everybody, etc. personally, I have 63 points so far, got a 76% on the TEAS test. I'm planning on trying to work on a better score though. Lets get the conversation going MJC crowd!!
