  1. Does anyone know where we can find more info about the u of t program? I want to take a tour and what not and go to an info session but it looks like they had them all already. Do you know where to get more info?
  2. I got into u of t last night!! soo happy and excited! I will be accepting the offer and that will open up spots at york, humber and trent for those of you waiting! I got an email from western saying they're waiting for my final marks from this term to make a decision. As u of t and western are my top choices I'm not sure which one i'll choose if i end up getting into western as well.
  3. Hey guys, so I got a rejection email yesterday. They told me my grades were Rank 1 - top 25%, but my supplementary application was ranked 4 - lowest 25%. I thought I had pretty good volunteer experience and wrote a solid essay so I was a little shocked to hear this. Would anyone who got an interview be willing to share their essay/volunteer experience? I applied to a few other schools with pretty much the same essay (with small modifications) but haven't heard back from them yet.... learning UBC ranked me 4th scares me now.
  4. Could you provide any information about the program, school, environment, or anything you can think of? I don't know anything about York and I've read really mixed reviews. I accepted my offer to York but I'm really uncertain about it! Anything helps, thanks
  5. does anyone know anything about york's program? is york a good school? i've been reading really mixed reviews that its a horrible school but some say its amazing.... first time i heard that if you can hold a fork you and go to york. i know it clearly depends on what program youre in, but i feel so uncertain about it now! I also was reading so many mixed reviews about humber. I can't go out to see the schools for a while to make my own judgment, so if any of you guys can share any information or your opinions about the schools you would ease my stress a bit.
  6. has anyone heard from u of t or western yet?
  7. How did you like the program at york? how is the school in general? i got offered admission into the 2nd entry at york and im just trying to weigh my options. any information is helpful - thank you!
  8. @kjohns87 I got into humber on friday! Hopefully you'll all hear back soon!!
  9. hey guys I just got into Humber! On the website it said all the same things about missing requirments and it slowly changed to different things. Now that i'm in it just says i have to submit my final transcript by aug 20th. I'm still waiting on u of t, queens, and western!
  10. I applied last minute to the compressed nursing ones last year, and I didn't want to lock into another 4 year program, starting with 17 year olds, plus I think it was too late to apply to the 4 yr. I already have a major in medical science so I don't need any of the science courses so I would essentially be part time for 4 years which is way too long for me. I was thinking of applying to vet school last year so I came back to get more prereqs for both nursing and vet to keep my options open and increase my GPA for whatever path i wanted to take.
  11. I logged into the mac website and it says denied vs. all the other options. It has not letter attatched so I'm not sure why yet. I did have a computer glitch when submitting the supplement application and it only submitted 15 mins after the due date (12:15am) sooo i'm not sure if they were that strict with it or not. If so, that really sucks.
  12. oh that really sucks. so they look at a lot of my 3rd year... why am i here for another semester lol! I'd had 82% so that makes 3.7 GPA ish? No, trent is my last choice cause it's the longest program (28 months) vs western & ubc is 18 months (my first choices) and everything else is 24 months so their all equal to me. I just wanna be done with school! Good for you though, my 1st and 2nd year marks are horrible. I either got 60s in my electives or 80-90s in my science courses. I wish they considered that
  13. has anyone heard from humber, u of t, and queens yet? Does anyone know anything about nippising? I applied but the supplementary essay is only due April 1st. Not sure if its worth it if I get into other places? Does anyone have any information about this program?
