  1. I also searched Flexcare on this site a little bit earlier and was pretty shocked myself with the reviews. These reviews are a little outdated, though. When I first looked into switching companies, I just looked at Travel Nursing Central from a Google search and saw over 200 great reviews about Flexcare so I thought it would be worth it to check them out. It sure was! Also, after speaking with my recruiter, she had informed me that they are not big on per diem positions whatsoever. There are so many travel assignments to choose from it was almost overwhelming! As far as honesty, Flexcare has been the most upfront with me. Within minutes of me logging on to their website, I was able to speak with a recruiter and see actual take home pay options, rather than having to wait until the contract was presented to me. Anyway, I think you are right and I hope others can benefit from checking them out as well :)
  2. Hi everyone, So I actually just signed up on this site today and I had no idea how resourceful it is! Bare with me...I know this may be an odd question but how long do you guys think is too long to continue travel nursing? I have been on a few assignments so far and I can't even imagine quitting! I just wonder if it is too much on your body or too much mentally to keep moving around so much. My friend has been doing it for almost 10 years and isn't burnt out yet....is that a norm?

Have you asked any of the agencies to break it down for you? Mine told me exactly what everything meant and went in to a lot of detail. The whole idea of travel nursing was so foreign to me and they should understand that. Just flat out ask a recruiter to give you all the information possible. My recruiter is always available to help me even at weird hours. She made sure I knew exactly what I was getting myself into without that aggressive sales attitude. I didn't have to negotiate either :)
  4. Oh my goodness that is horrible! My coworker worked with them and also and didn't have anything good to say either. She now works with the same agency/recruiter as me and we both LOVE our experience so far. I am a pretty big baby when it comes to traveling and my recruiter has been beyond helpful. I had worked with several agencies in the past and no one has come close to providing the help and knowledge that this one has. That kind of housing nonsense would NEVER happen with this company :) Don't give up though...traveling is amazing. Hope you have better luck with your next assignment!
